CNN and MSNBC Post-Election Ratings Continue to Plummet. Good.
Onward.
Corporate media continues to face a ratings reckoning. Following the election, primetime ratings cratered 53% for MSNBC, and 47% for CNN.
Morning Joe’s ratings plummeted more than 37% since they went to kiss Trump’s ring at Mar-a-Lago. Several people I know who have watched the show for years, vow to never watch it ever again. I know I won’t be tuning in anymore.
Now, don’t get me wrong—MSNBC has been mostly great over the years. And I think their ratings will rebound after the holidays. People just need a break.
But I don’t think CNN will recover anytime soon.
Overall, we’ve had enough of the lie-filled headlines in the Press, and pro-maga “analysis” from corporate networks and pundits, who sanewash a raving sociopath like Donald. It’s time to build something better, and revolutionize the way news is delivered.
Which is why, starting back in July, we printed a hard-hitting 13-part weekly series about the failures of the Press. In it, we laid out more than 60 undeniable examples that prove it’s time for a serious change. We shouldn’t have been able to give so many instances, but here we are.
And just like we have for the last year, we will continue to take on corporate media, holding them accountable, and calling them out for their lies.

I have not watched the news since the election. I do tune into Lawrence O’Donnell and I watch a Rachel on Monday. That is it. I refuse to see Trump’s face or hear his voice. I have no idea how I will survive the next four years.
