BONDI IMPEACHMENT SURGE
Over the last few weeks, Pam Bondi has faced mounting pressure from every direction. Rep. Shri Thanedar filed articles of impeachment against her on March 9 for obstruction of Congress, dereliction of duty, and weaponization of the DOJ. “Protecting predators who abused children to appease Donald Trump is the most reprehensible thing that any Attorney General has ever done,” Thanedar said.
Rep. Summer Lee filed her own articles this week, charging Bondi with ignoring the Epstein files subpoena, violating the Epstein Files Transparency Act, defying federal court orders, committing perjury, and using the DOJ as a weapon. “Pam Bondi is breaking the law to protect pedophiles and prosecute Trump’s political opponents,” Lee said.
GOP House Oversight Chair James Comer formally subpoenaed Bondi for a deposition on April 14. Five Republicans voted with every Democrat on the committee to make it happen.
The next day, Bondi showed up for a separate closed-door briefing and refused to commit to honoring the subpoena. Every Democrat then walked out.
Lawmakers say there are around 2.5 million pages from the Epstein files that have not been released. Legally they were required to be out more than three months ago.
Two members. One verdict. Bondi has nowhere left to go but out.
NOEM CRIMINALLY REFERRED FOR PERJURY
Ranking Members of the Senate and House Judiciary Committees, Sen. Dick Durbin and Rep. Jamie Raskin, sent Attorney General Pam Bondi a criminal referral for Kristi Noem. They said Noem lied under oath across four categories of testimony—here’s what the record shows.
Noem told Congress DHS never violated a court order—federal judges found hundreds of violations. She said a $220 million ad campaign went through a competitive bidding process—it didn’t. She said Trump approved the expense—he denies it. She said her advisor Corey Lewandowski had no contract authority—his signature sits above hers on a department document.
Durbin and Raskin know Bondi won’t act. They said so in an official letter, noting the statute of limitations is five years. The referral isn’t just a message for this corrupt Attorney General—it’s a case file for the next one.
THE BIG LIE LOST IN COURT—AGAIN
Trump sued CNN for defamation over its coverage of his 2020 election lies. A federal judge threw it out. Trump appealed to the 11th Circuit—and lost. Then he asked for the full 11th Circuit to take another look.
On Tuesday, they said no. Unanimously. No explanation. No dissent. Not a single judge—including his own appointees—asked for a vote to reconsider. The case is dead.
Trump lost the 2020 election by what even he would call a landslide—and he lost this case by one too.
GOP LEADERS JUMP SHIP IN WISCONSIN
Wisconsin’s Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu announced yesterday he won’t seek a fourth term, and Robin Vos—the longest-serving Assembly Speaker in state history—announced last month that he was leaving.
Three other Republicans in the Senate announced their departure, while two conservative Supreme Court justices are stepping down—one this spring, one next year.
Democrats only need two seats to flip the Wisconsin Senate, and five to take the Assembly. And thanks to newly redrawn maps, both chambers are now truly competitive for the first time in over a decade.
Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair Devin Remiker had a message for the rest of the state’s GOP: “Both of your leaders have abandoned you. Your policies are causing working people to turn against you in droves as the Trump administration crashes and burns. Consider retiring alongside your colleagues before you are voted out in November.”
Republican leadership in Wisconsin could see what’s coming in the midterms—and not one of them wanted to be standing there when the blue wave hits.
This regime built an empire of propaganda and fear to try and silence us. They failed miserably.
Because somewhere along the way, hundreds of thousands of people just like you decided to support our independent journalism that fights back.
663,000 calls and letters to Congress. Billions of impressions every month. No billionaires. No corporations. Just us. Just the truth told so loudly that even the most powerful people in the world can’t ignore it.
We will never flinch, and never quit. This is the fight we show up for every single day—exposing lies, demanding accountability, and building the case against this monstrous regime in every way we can. That’s how we win.

I have two questions for you today.
Who will be the next member of the Trump regime to be fired or forced out?
Do you think Democrats will flip the Wisconsin Assembly and Senate in the fall?

🚨TWO URGENT ACTIONS TODAY
🚨Vote NO on SAVE Act: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-congress-vote-no-on-the-save-act-to-protect-our-democracy/
🚨 Tell your Reps to impeach Pam Bondi: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-congress-impeach-attorney-general-pam-bondi/
Wisconsin was a prime example of what happened when the GOP gerrymandering machine was allowed to proceed unchallenged. Fortunately, their control over state politics is collapsing under the weight of their cruelty, indifference and incompetence. Hopefully, the nation will follow.
