FACT CHECK: AMERICAN JOBS

Once again we caught Trump’s Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt pathologically lying—this time claiming that all jobs gained under former President Joe Biden went to foreign-born workers. That is an outright lie.

Under Biden, unemployment fell to near-historic lows across every demographic—not just foreign-born workers. Under Trump, on the other hand, unemployment has risen. In October alone, the economy lost 105,000 jobs. Biden’s been out of office for nearly a year. Today’s economy is on Trump, not Biden. Anyone saying differently is a liar.

TRUMP’S HORRIBLE “ADDRESS”

If you missed Trump’s ranting and raving “address” last night, then be glad you did. There’s nothing that I need to quote from it, but Trump looked terribly unwell—sweating profusely, slurring his words, scrambling through it all, and screaming at the camera. So as always, I made sure to cover up his face. You’re welcome.

BRUTAL POLL FOR TRUMP

Speaking of Mr. Unpopular-in-Chief, a new Marist-NPR poll shows Trump’s approval rating on the economy just hit its lowest point ever, at just 38%. And among those polled, more folks said they trust Democrats over Republicans on the economy.

We should take all polls with a grain of salt, but it’s starting to look like there could be a big Blue Tsunami in the 2026 midterms. And as I always say, let’s work like we’re behind, and sprint through the finish.

NEW STATUE REPLACES TRAITOR

In the halls of Congress, all 50 states are represented by two statues in the Capitol building. Until this week, one of Virginia’s statues was of former Confederate General Robert E. Lee—which has now been replaced by teen civil rights icon Barbara Johns.

Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries stated: “The Commonwealth of Virginia will now be properly represented by an actual patriot who embodied the principle of liberty and justice for all, and not a traitor who took up arms against the United States to preserve the brutal institution of chattel slavery.”

JACK SMITH TESTIFIES

Yesterday, former federal prosecutor Jack Smith testified about Trump’s crimes in front of a closed-door session of the House Judiciary Committee.

Smith told lawmakers: “Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that [Trump] engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and to prevent the lawful transfer of power.”

He added that Trump “willfully retained highly classified documents after he left office in January 2021 … then repeatedly tried to obstruct justice to conceal his continued retention of those documents.”

And Smith made it clear that Trump was prosecuted “entirely” because of “his actions.” As in, if Trump didn’t want to be prosecuted, he shouldn’t have committed the crimes.

While corporate media constantly sanitizes this regime to protect their profits and access to Trump, it’s great to hear Smith present the unvarnished truth.
