I love it. A brutal week for the regime and real wins for accountability.

Looks like JD Vance is going to need a second couch. One for psychotherapy 3 times a week.

Judy Sherwood's avatar

Maybe... I cannot think of one mental health professional who might be willing and available to work with Justa Dick. Couches or no couches.

Sylvia Arrowood's avatar

They could just charge Vance high and then play games on their phone while he is talking.

As a mental health professional, I can confidently say that there is no hope for Vance to change at all. I wouldnt go near it!

The cowardice that is the Republican Senate will affirm him, Fetterman will probably join them. Republicans in less than 24 hours changed their votes on the Wars Power Act after the bully in chief threatened them.

Spineless cowards who will go down in history as such. I think every one of them should be recalled by their constituents. NOW!!!! The taxpayer is funding their salaries and health benefits, while minimum wage still sits at $7.25/hr and millions are losing their own health benefits and they are willingly ushering in the destruction of our democracy.

So disappointed in those Republicans that caved. I really thought there was some hope.

Every one of these stories has the same theme: the truth keeps leaking out, and they can’t plug the holes fast enough. Accountability isn’t theoretical anymore. It’s happening in real time.

It’s glorious!

Disgusting that the Senate back tracked its position on djt's iran war. Not surprising though, they just proved ONCE AGAIN what a weak willed, ineffective group of limp dicks they are.

Midterms coming.

The senate has confirmed sooo many terrible candidates that I can imagine them confirming Blanche, just look at the tongue lashing they got for passing the war resolution. I don’t think many of them have the guts to vote no! So every time I think the regime is losing ground something happens and the repugs back down!

Trump is very weak. I hope we keep punching.

🏛️ If the Senate confirms Todd Blanche they are complicit in all the corruption and cover up. I hope they don’t, but their record isn’t good. We want accountability.

🍊is panicked 😱 . There is no good way for him to get out of Iran 🇮🇷 except to lie. And his lies aren’t holding up. He has no leverage and is crumbling.

Iran has no reason to allow him to lie. They have him right where they want him.

Check out Liz Oyer on Substack for intimate professional (both!) knowledge & outrage about Todd Blanche. She is a lawyer who is dedicating her life to opposing his having any more power -- she says our democracy is at stake, because he believes in loyalty to Donald Trump over the Constitution & rule of law, and she clearly explains in detail. We must stop him ‼️💔🇺🇸

I believe Oyer was the federal lawyer for pardons, if I heard it right. Ironic!

Well guess what, she can analyze & vet!

He *must* be disbarred before the confirmation hearings!!!!

Margot's avatar

They better reject him or it will be Emil Bove all over again.

Republican senators are in lock step with the current regime to destroy this country and that means no chance they will stop the. nomination of a lawyer who would be disbarred and indicted for criminal acts if not for the fact he is protected by the regime and by proxy this group of do-nothing senators. BTW, has anyone heard from Mitch lately? If we want to really know what is wrong with this country led by these do-nothing senators, Mitch is at an undisclosed hospital, maybe hospice. He still gets paid his full salary, he still gets free healthcare funded by taxpayers, as these do-nothing senators have already taken away medical insurance, medicare and medicaid and raised the cost of prescriptions for everyone else. Yes, it is hyprocisy at its finest.

Karen&HerKittyCats's avatar

Not that I wish anyone ill, but if McConnell stays ill, or in Hospice, or dies anytime soon, he can't vote to confirm, can he? One less vote in a tied Senate is helpful - Pennsylvanians need to be calling / writing to Fetterman every day & tell him he's never getting their vote or another campaign $1 if he votes to confirm Blanche. And the rest of us need to call our senators, even the bad ones like, mine in Florida, & make ourselves heard - especially the ones up for reelection in November.

Thank heavens, Scot. The regime certainly seems to be cracking on every level. Thanks again for your positive approach to this whole mess. I appreciate it.
