JUDGE BLOCKED REGIME’S FOOD BLACKMAIL

The regime found a fresh place to plant its culture war—the food on our tables. Late last year, the USDA told states they couldn’t get federal food money unless they first signed a loyalty pledge to follow Trump’s rules on “gender ideology,” immigration, and who gets to play in girls’ sports.

Twenty states and DC refused, and took the regime to court. On Friday, federal Judge Myong Joun blocked the entire scheme. New York Attorney General Letitia James put it plainly: “We won a court order protecting billions of dollars in USDA funding.” She vowed to keep fighting to “stop the federal government from punishing our state for refusing to bend.”

Trump’s message was simple: obey, or let families go hungry. A judge just told him their dinner isn’t his to take.

REGIME SUES DRUMMER AND LOSES

Chuck Redd has played the Kennedy Center every Christmas Eve since 2006. When Trump’s name was bolted onto the building, Redd canceled his show. His conscience wouldn’t let him play under that name.

The regime tried to bankrupt him for it. Kennedy Center boss Richard Grenell came after Redd for a million dollars, calling his cancellation a “political stunt.” Then came the offer: perform, drop the politics, settle for $7,500. Redd refused that too.

On Friday, DC Superior Court Judge Tanya Jones Bosier threw the case out. Redd never signed a contract, she ruled. His lawyer Lisa Banks called the case what it was: “political retribution, pure and simple.”

The regime sued a drummer for a million dollars. A judge ordered the regime to pay Redd’s legal bills instead.

A JUDGE VOIDS TRUMP’S $100,000 TAX

Last September, the regime decided that hiring a foreign-born doctor, teacher, or researcher should cost an extra $100,000 each. Trump signed an order slapping that fee on H-1B visas—the ones Congress created in 1990 so that hospitals, schools, and universities could hire skilled workers they can’t find in America.

There was just one problem with Trump’s plan—a president can’t invent a $100,000 tax with the stroke of a pen. That takes a bill and votes in Congress.

Twenty states sued to stop it. Then on Monday, federal Judge Leo Sorokin ruled the regime had “no power or delegated authority to impose a tax,” and threw the fee out. California AG Rob Bonta, who led the lawsuit, had warned from the start: “No presidential administration can rewrite immigration law.”

Trump made up a tax nobody voted for. Now it’s gone.

REPUBLICAN SENATOR PANICS

GOP Senator Dan Sullivan is a Trump loyalist who kept his mouth shut while the regime tried to build a slush fund for Jan 6 rioters. Now he’s the most rattled man in Alaska—because a second Dan Sullivan just filed to run against him.

The challenger is a 68-year-old retired schoolteacher from a fishing town. He says he jumped in because the senator stayed silent about the fund. The senator’s so spooked he’s demanding the state erase the other Dan Sullivan from the ballot, and threatening to sue. “It’s cheating,” he said. “This is just corruption.”

That’s not the only reason the senator is sweating—Democrat and former Rep. Mary Peltola is already in this race and outspending him nearly two to one. Under Alaska’s ranked-choice voting, two Sullivans on the November ballot could split the Republican vote and hand Peltola the seat. A seat that helps decide who runs the Senate.
