Musk Smeared Her. A Judge Cleared Her.
For seven years, Mary Comans was in charge of the money at FEMA, the agency that helps Americans after disasters. Early last year, FEMA sent money to New York City to help shelter migrants. Days later, Elon Musk’s DOGE team told FEMA that keeping money flowing to cities and states was “the right answer.” When Musk found out and blew up about it, they turned around and blamed her.
She hadn’t even approved the payment, but that same day she went to work clawing back the $80 million anyway. FEMA’s acting chief hugged her for it and promised nobody was getting fired. At 9:15 the next morning, she was told to be out of the building by 9:30. Less than two hours later, Musk had blasted her photo out to millions with a post calling it “a criminal action.”
On Tuesday, Magistrate Judge William Fitzpatrick went through every charge. Criminal intent? “That is untrue.” Musk’s post, he wrote, was “little more than state sanctioned intimidation.” Then he did something federal courts rarely do—he officially cleared her name.
The regime didn’t even try and dispute it in court. They admitted what they said was “entirely false,” and that they knew it. Their own team signed off on the payments, called them a crime, and then fired her for it. That’s not a government. That’s a gang with a press office.
The richest man in the world accused her of a crime over money his own team okayed. A federal judge just called her an exemplary public servant. Their lies only work until someone stands up to them, and Mary Comans just showed us how.

Democrats Demanded Answers. Guilfoyle Is Gone.
Kimberly Guilfoyle is out. On Tuesday, the White House asked Trump’s ambassador to Greece, his son’s ex-fiancée, to resign. Within two hours, she announced she was quitting. New press secretary Katie Zacharia sent her off calling her “a wonderful asset to the team.”
Some asset. The Wall Street Journal reported Guilfoyle used her job to push deals for a Greek energy company. According to the Journal, she even slipped into Albania after dark, with no embassy staff, alongside the company’s CEO and its lobbyist, for a meeting with the prime minister about energy. A month later, Albania signed the deal.
Just six days before her Senate confirmation hearing, she allegedly asked Trump donor Eric Deters to pay her $100,000 American Express bill. The Journal reported she also passed his IRS tax dispute to the new IRS commissioner, asking him to give it “some time and attention.” Deters put it plainly to ABC News: “it was all quid pro quo.” He says he never paid. Her lawyer disputes the messages and says he owed her for speeches.
Trump’s own explanation gives the game away: “She was doing a good job, but we didn’t like what we were reading.” Not what she did. What got printed.
She didn’t fall on her own. Rep. Gregory Meeks demanded an inspector general investigation and called on her to testify under oath. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen wrote to Marco Rubio sharing the same concerns. And Rep. Robert Garcia piled on. “Kimberly Guilfoyle is a fraud,” he said Wednesday. “Our investigation is just getting started.”

The Workers Who Saved Beltsville
Teddi Mitchell has spent 37 years as a biological technician at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center in Maryland, where scientists have tested the food on America’s tables for more than a century. Trump’s agriculture secretary, Brooke Rollins, wanted it shut down.
One problem. The spending law Trump signed last November bars the department from using money to “close or consolidate” these research labs. The regime tried to close it down anyway.
On Tuesday, Judge Vince Chhabria shut Trump down. Federal workers’ unions sued alongside Prince George’s County, and Chhabria found it “overwhelmingly likely” the closures break the law. “There is no public interest in allowing the government to violate federal law,” he wrote. His order protects Beltsville by name.
County Executive Aisha Braveboy said that it saves around 1,000 jobs. The workers fought back and won, and the scientists who keep our food safe are staying right where they belong.

Voters Laughed. Andy Harris Lost It.
Andy Harris chairs the House Freedom Caucus—the hard-right wing of Congress—and since 2023 he’s dodged in-person town halls instead of facing voters. On Tuesday night, at a League of Women Voters debate in Cambridge, Maryland, more than 150 of his constituents finally got him in a room. Asked about diesel prices, he reached for the oldest MAGA excuse there is: “Because the Democrats have environmental regulations—”
The room burst out laughing, and Harris came unglued. “You say you all believe in the First Amendment but only if you agree with me,” he snapped, then called the crowd “rude.” When the League’s president asked both candidates to calm their supporters, Democrat Dan Schwartz did, but Harris refused.
Afterward, at a press conference in a separate room, Harris told a reporter she didn’t have his permission to record him and threatened to refer her to the prosecutor. He was wrong. Maryland’s consent law doesn’t cover a press conference. He lectured voters about free speech, then threatened a reporter for doing her job. Fitting.
Republicans run the House, the Senate, and the White House. They are to blame for the high costs we are all dealing with—and Americans know it. In June 2022, the same Andy Harris held a press conference demanding Joe Biden “stop the blame-game” over what he called “Biden’s Price Hike.” Asked about diesel Tuesday, he blamed Democrats. But by his own logic, this is squarely on Trump.
This is what it looks like when MAGA panics. This snowflake Freedom Caucus chairman can’t even handle being laughed at. He better get used to it. November is coming.
A judge cleared Mary Comans, whom Elon Musk smeared. Trump’s ambassador is out. A Freedom Caucus chairman just lost it in front of his own voters. The side that’s losing is showing it in a big way.
We’ve only got 18 days left until the election. After 23 years in campaigns, I’ve learned that in the final stretch the side that’s scared starts lying louder. The side that’s winning is the one that keeps showing up.
After a decade of fighting Trump, there is no way we are slowing down over the next 18 days. We will continue to release exclusive investigations into GOP Senate candidates, while reporting the truth to millions every single day. That’s on top of our social media operation, which is dominating the trends, pushing people to help progressives, and fighting MAGA propaganda.
