From DC checkpoints to Alaska’s Treason Summit, the people are showing up

CHECKPOINT PROTEST

In DC, just a few raindrops can cause traffic jams. But on Wednesday night, there was a checkpoint with more than 20 federal agents slowing things down.

Were they making DC safer? Absolutely not. They were mostly writing traffic tickets. What a complete waste of time, money, and resources. Which is why protesters gathered to chant “go home, fascists.”

HECKLERS VS. GOP REP.

GOP Rep. Brad Finstad had a terrible Tuesday. Protesters interrupted a Chamber of Commerce event he was speaking at, yelling: “Stop the cuts!” Dozens of protesters were also gathered outside.

Later in the day, one of his public meetings was cut short after Finstad was called a “chicken” and a “coward” by hecklers in the audience.

ERNST CONFRONTED

We all know how horrible GOP Sen. Joni Ernst is, for a number of reasons. During a recent Iowa State Fair visit, a local mom and advocate named Tara politely asked Ernst why she voted for the big evil bill. Ernst responded by being condescending and evasive, eventually cutting her off and walking away.

Tara’s son was in the NICU for 141 days, and Medicaid helped pay the $1.7 million in medical bills. So Tara wasn’t having it. She confronted Ernst again, saying: “I want to know why you think giving tax cuts to billionaires is more important than healthcare for Iowans. Please tell me.” Ernst scurried away, refusing to answer. What a coward.

HUNTER BIDEN TAKES ON MELANIA

Hunter Biden is back in the news, but not for the reason Republicans would hope for. Biden repeated writer Michael Wolff’s allegations about Melania Trump’s ties to Epstein. In response, Melania’s lawyer threatened to sue Biden and others for $1 billion. Give me a break.

When asked if he would apologize and retract his statement, Biden said: “F**k that. That’s not gonna happen.” He added that if the Trumps “want to sit down for a deposition and clarify the nature of their relationship [with] Jeffrey Epstein,” he would be “happy to give them the platform to do so.”

Which reminds me—where are those Epstein files?

GAVIN LETS LOOSE

CA Gov. Gavin Newsom held an event yesterday with Sens. Alex Padilla, Adam Schiff, and other Dems. They announced a 2025 special election will be held for the “Election Rigging Response Act,” which would allow mid-term redistricting in the state.

Newsom didn’t hold back, stating: “You will not have a country if he rigs this election ... The most corrupt president in history. He is wrecking this country, wrecking the economy. He is a lawless president. Wake up America.”

ALASKA ROARS

There were protests against Trump and Putin in Anchorage last night, as the duo of dictators are set to meet for Treason Summit, Part II today.

People waved American and Ukrainian flags, some holding a banner that read: “Ukraine and Alaska—Russian never again.” There are at least 2 more large protests planned for today. We’ll be sure to report back on those.

This entire summit is a complete disgrace. Without Ukraine at the table, it’s nothing but a way for Trump and Putin to generate propaganda—which we will fight head-on.
