Marjorie Taylor Greene has officially resigned from Congress. She was one of the worst politicians in US history. I’m glad I spent so much time pushing back against her and investigating the role she played in the Jan 6 insurrection. Good riddance.

CNN’S SANEWASHING REACHES NEW LOW

The “QAnon Shaman” is a pardoned rioter from Jan 6 who has no regrets about what he did. But CNN figured yesterday would be the perfect time to run a piece with him, titled: “The ‘QAnon Shaman,’ five years after the January 6 attack.”

The fact CNN traveled to visit this fake shaman is enough of a problem. But to “examine what he believes now” and to talk “about the power and persistence of online radicalization”—with him of all people—is beyond ludicrous.

Anyone who attacked our Capitol should have no opportunity to be sanewashed. What they’ve done is unforgivable. Shame on CNN for giving him the spotlight when they should’ve focused on the law enforcement officers who were the true heroes of that day.

DEM SHADOW HEARING

Fighting back against that kind of garbage propaganda is one reason why House Democrats held a shadow hearing yesterday. They aimed to stop the Trump regime from rewriting the true story of Jan 6.

Rep. Bennie Thompson said: “The years may have muffled the screams we heard, and the horrible images of that day may have faded, so as we mark this grim anniversary, it’s important that we remember exactly what happened.”

And Dem Rep. Jamie Raskin said: “The people who tried to destroy our constitutional order will be remembered as fascist traitors to their own country.”

MAJOR PROPAGANDA FAILURE

Speaking of the regime’s failing propaganda machine, Trump and his cabinet made absolute fools of themselves during their invasion of Venezuela.

They had put together a makeshift situation room at Mar-a-Lago, complete with large black drapes in the background. It looked sort of like a Glamour Shots studio. They were obviously trying to look strong and scary, but it just looked weak and tacky.

Besides the ugly chairs, the images above reveal a monitor in the background lit up with an X/Twitter search for “Venezuela.”

This is not how any of this is supposed to work. With a mission this serious, you’d think Trump would at the very least be in a secure room. It’s amateur hour nonsense.

WALZ UNLEASHED

An unleashed Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz delivered a fiery speech yesterday, slamming the GOP for doing everything they can to “tear this state down” and act as a “parrot for Donald Trump.”

Walz said “shame on you” to the Republicans who “shed crocodile tears” at the funeral for the Hortmans, but now refuse to condemn Trump’s violent rhetoric.

Walz said the GOP is hiding behind a “veil of innuendo” in order to protect “the biggest fraudster in the White House.” And when asked if he would resign, Walz said: “Over my dead body will that happen. I will fight this thing to the very end … the question I think they need to decide is when will the guy in the White House resign?”

This is the kind of fire, grit, and guts we need every single day from our elected officials if we’re going to take back Congress and turn Trump into a lame duck. That’s exactly what we’re working toward, but we can’t do it without you.
