He's right about getting involved: I have a friend who is very quiet but puts her *money* where her mouth is. She has helped me get involved in postcard writing and texting for the Democratic Party, Joe Biden, abortion, etc. Try it! It really makes you feel less helpless.
Postcard writing is so important. It’s better than any mailer or ad that’s for sure. People see it’s handwritten immediately. And they usually seem to read it. Thanks for all you do Patt and thanks for reading!

Yes! I don’t think I could’ve survived the Trump years without Borowitz and the few others… the crisis of corruption is still ongoing today because the media refuses to condemn him and his criminal gang. We will lose our democracy bc of the silence of media outlets covering Republicans as if it is still just another political party.
Trump walks like he’s a star. He’s studied Sinatra, Elvis, Brando — and thinks if he walks like them, he’ll be seen as one of those iconic talents and legends. But he’s merely the great pretender, which should be his theme song. Or — Stand By Your Scam. Conmen, televangelists, shock jocks, have talent to engage and have you believe what they’re spewing out — enough so you send them money. But none of them asked their marks to accept they were God. Trump is so self-destructive, he will shock even his faithful into submitting to reality. And they will never forgive him for it.
You’re keeping me sane! I watched the interview and read your Report Scott. I enjoyed your lighthearted tone even as you discussed heavy topics. I am inspired by Andy’s advice to pick one way to be involved. Making that appointment with myself right now to write those postcards. Democracy Needs Us!
Great comedians like Andy are so wise. He understands who Trump is as well as his followers. Trump isn’t smart but he’s very talented- he reads his followers thirst for violence. 👏👏Wow. Great post Scott
