BERNIE FIRES UP WV AND NC

Sen. Bernie Sanders spent the weekend rallying with thousands of people at a number of “Fighting Oligarchy” events. In West Virginia—from Wheeling to Lenore, to a packed house in Charleston—Bernie brought the fire. On Sunday, he headed to North Carolina, holding back-to-back rallies in Greensboro and Asheville.

When speaking about the big ugly bill, Bernie said: “It is going to be a disaster for the country … Especially for working class states like West Virginia, it is going to be horrific.” It sure is, but thankfully we have folks like Bernie pushing back with all they’ve got.

BETO RALLIES IN FT WORTH

Meanwhile, Beto O’Rourke held a revved-up rally with hundreds of rowdy attendees in Ft. Worth, TX. He was there with Dem Rep. Joaquin Castro to call out Trump’s gerrymandering scheme in the state.

Beto said: “[Trump] thinks we're going to take it ... But he doesn't understand, in Texas, our knees do not bend.”

PRITZKER SENDS A MESSAGE

IL Gov. JB Pritzker also slammed Trump’s power grab, saying: “Donald Trump is a cheater. He cheats on his wives. He cheats at golf. And now he's trying to cheat the American people out of their votes.” Pritzker also called out TX Gov. Greg Abbott for “licking the boots of his leader, Donald Trump.”

HOCHUL ON FOX

NY Gov. Kathy Hochul went into the belly of the beast, making an appearance on Fox “News.” Hochul hammered the GOP’s attempt to steal US House seats, stating: “They know they're going to lose next year.” Hochul then reminded viewers it also serves as “a nice distraction from people asking” about the Epstein files.

WHAT ARE YOU HIDING JD? OH, THE EPSTEIN FILES.

JD Vance confirmed there was a meeting between him, Bondi, and Patel last week. The meeting was reported to be a planning session for the Epstein scandal, but Vance insisted that wasn’t the subject: “We didn’t talk about Epstein at all.”

Translation—they absolutely talked about Epstein and how to bury the scandal.

One big obstacle for them is a lawsuit aimed at obtaining Epstein-related records. The judge for that case? Tanya Chutkan—who oversaw Trump’s election interference trial and more than 30 January 6th-related cases.
