Big Protests In Wyoming and More Terrible News For Trump
New anti-Palantir demonstrations, Gavin Newsom sues Fox, and more
We made it through another week of Trump’s chaos, so I’m happy to have a new edition of Great News for you today. Thanks for being here—let’s get to it.
Thousands of protesters gathered across the state of Wyoming, with more than 500 people outside of the state’s Capitol building. The event was held to counter GOP Sen. Mike Lee’s unhinged plan to sell-off millions of acres of public land.
WY Rep. Karlee Provenza called the three Republicans holding federal offices in the state during the rally. Provenza would leave each a voicemail, and then towards the end signaled to the crowd who loudly chanted “not for sale!”
In Venice, Italy, activists placed a dummy that looked like Jeff Bezos into the Venice Canal. The life-sized doll was holding on to an Amazon box, and clutching fistfuls of cash. It was one of many protests held against Bezos, as he hosts his exorbitant wedding there.
Anti-ICE demonstrations have started to form outside of Palantir, to call out their immigration-related work. Folks rallied outside of both their NYC and Palo Alto offices.
Executive Director of Planet Over Profit, Alice Hu, who helped organize the demonstrations, said: “They are the company that provides the software that allows ICE to identify, locate, and detain migrants en masse.”
Disgraced Mayor Eric Adams went on Fox “News” this week to attack Democrat Zohran Mamdani. He said nothing worth repeating. I find it funny that Adams thinks going on Fox will help him win in New York City. What a joke.
A few months ago an indictment of Adams was thrown out—thanks to the Trump regime. If Adams ever did anything the regime didn’t like, Trump would use those charges as leverage. No one should want a puppet like that as their elected official.
Speaking of Fox, CA Gov. Gavin Newsom is suing them for $787 million for defamation. It’s based on the network lying about Newsom’s phone calls with Trump, leading up to the deployment of the National Guard.
Newsom stated: “If Fox News wants to lie to the American people on Donald Trump’s behalf, it should face consequences … Until Fox is willing to be truthful, I will keep fighting against their propaganda machine.”
And so will I. In fact, back when I was helping run our first impeachment campaign more than 5 years ago, Fox aired this quote from me, which was primarily a warning about them: “Trump’s propaganda machine is going to be in overdrive for the foreseeable future.” Attacking themselves with my words—gotta love it.
Beyond our reporting—I run one of the biggest Contact Congress campaigns out there. Since November, we’ve made countless calls, and sent more than 398,000 letters to block this big evil bill, and GOP cuts to Medicaid, Social Security, and more.
All of our work is funded by our readers, because that’s what it takes for us to remain independent. And right now, we need all hands on deck. So if you haven’t already, please become a paid subscriber today:

Onward!
