It’s only been 10 days since the election, and we’re already back at work with more tenacity than ever before. The strength I’ve seen from folks powering through these uncertain times has been beyond inspiring.
We’ve all seen how Trump is trying to hire unqualified cult followers for crucial cabinet posts. Most of them should be in prison for one reason or another: Kennedy for HHS, Gaetz for AG, Noem for DHS—the list goes on and on.
And how did we respond?
By organizing thousands of folks to send 14,147 letters to Senators, demanding they block Trump from abusing recess appointments. We still have more than 2 months until anyone can be formally confirmed—and we’re just getting started.
We’ve sent 3,506 letters to Senators urging them to oppose Gaetz for AG, and to release the findings of the House Ethics probe into him. The pressure is working. Since then, every Dem on the Senate Judiciary Committee—and even GOP Sen. John Cornyn—said they need to see the full report.
We’re pushing back on corporate media, fighting back against Trump, and releasing hard-hitting content daily—including exclusive live interviews this week with friends from our Watchdog Coalition, like Allison Gill AKA
, Brooklyn Dad , and of .We also made countless phone calls to cure ballots in close House races across the country, and it’s making a big difference.
These are just a few of the ways we are already leading the charge, rallying The Resistance to take on Trump. And I’m thrilled that so many of you are a part of it—because together, we are unstoppable.
