While Trump hides out at his golf bunker this weekend, I’m glad to have some more great news for you today. Thanks for being here, let’s get to it.

FLORIDA RESISTANCE

Protesters gathered in DeLand, Florida yesterday, to push back against the Trump regime’s rampant abuse of power. As you can tell from the picture above, spirits were high, defiant, and hopeful.

This helps build some great momentum as we move into the Labor Day protests, which are set to be the largest anti-Trump demonstrations in months.

BERNIE SAYS KENNEDY MUST RESIGN

Sen. Bernie Sanders released an op-ed in The New York Times yesterday, aptly titled: “Bernie Sanders: Kennedy Must Resign.”

Sanders said that Kennedy is “endangering the health of the American people” by continuing “his longstanding crusade against vaccines and his advocacy of conspiracy theories.”

It’s absurd that he even had to say it in 2025, but Sanders made it clear: “vaccines are safe and effective.” They absolutely are.

TRUMP’S STILL A GLOBAL EMBARRASSMENT

Portugal’s President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa recently said this about Trump: “The supreme leader of the world’s greatest superpower is, objectively, a Soviet or Russian asset.” He sure is.

Doubling down on de Sousa’s comment, Dem Rep. Jasmine Crockett stated: “The entire WORLD can see that Trump is absolutely unqualified to lead … but those red hats shield their brains from taking in facts & data.” Spot on.

PROTECTING CHICAGO

Yesterday, Chicago’s Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an Executive Order called the “Protecting Chicago Initiative.”

Johnson said: “We find ourselves in a position where we must take immediate, drastic action to protect our people from federal overreach.” The order instructs Chicago Police not to “collaborate with federal agents on joint law enforcement patrols, arrest operations, or other law enforcement duties including civil immigration enforcement.”

EPSTEIN ESTATE DOCUMENTS

Dem Rep. Robert Garcia confirmed that on September 8th the Epstein estate will be turning over documents to Congress. Lawyers for the estate were subpoenaed to turn over a trove of evidence—including financial statements, the infamous birthday book, and anything that could be deemed a “client list.”

This week there will be a press conference with Dem Rep. Ro Khanna and GOP Rep. Thomas Massie, where survivors of Epstein’s abuse will be given a large platform to speak out. Garcia said lawmakers will also meet with those survivors.

NEWSOM’S NEW ATTACK

California Gov. Gavin Newsom stepped up his attacks on Trump, saying: “This guy has completely perverted capitalism ... It's crony capitalism. It's whatever—you pay him off, give him a phone call.”

Newsom also used Trump’s own playbook against him, saying: “It’s just perverse that [maga] could be shaping the Democratic Party in the context of the socialist brand, when, in fact, [Trump] is the leading nationalist and socialist of our time.”
