Texas, Georgia, and Iowa are all in play, Trump’s own judge overruled his press ban, and we matched Ken Paxton’s campaign checks to a federal court file.
Nineteen days. That's all. Thank you to every person who's reading, sharing, organizing, volunteering, donating, voting, and refusing to check out. The reason we've come this far is because millions of people decided democracy was worth the effort. Let's finish this thing together.
I love what you're doing, Scott, but I am going to repeat every day: We cannot be complacent! Make sure you and your eligible family members and friends VOTE BLUE!
To everyone still in it—thank you. The days are long and the noise is loud, but the people doing the actual work haven’t quit. Neither have we. Onward.
Scott, simply saying “Donald Trump” should encourage people to vote. Our country’s long nightmare began because people believed the polls favoring Kamala Harris and didn’t bother to vote. We can’t get him out in November, but we can limit his power! VOTE BLUE!
A few years ago in Virginia, an election count was tied. The winner was chosen by drawing a name from a hat. If at least one more voter on either side had cast a ballot, that draw would not have been necessary. That is how important one vote can be.
If I know them, I would try to find someone or something in their life, or the life of someone they love, and show them how that life would be negatively affected by continuing to support a corrupt regime.
Disability alone is an issue for more than 90% of the population. Almost everyone knows or loves someone with a disability. This government wants to institutionalize them.
That thought process has to end. Comprehensive accessibility needs to be the bottom line.
Thank you, Sam. I do not have a disability, but we are all temporarily abled bodies. At some point or another, we all have a disability. It’s something I’ve become very aware of in recent years.
Re Scott's question "If someone you know said their vote doesn’t matter, what would you tell them to get them to the polls?"
I thought about it and looked at many ways/angles to express how I might handle it. this one fit my thinking the best... “Your vote may not decide the election. But deciding not to vote guarantees your voice won't be counted.”
Tell anyone that their vote doesn’t matter to look at John MCCain’s sole vote counted for having the ACA or not. One vote. Or one person using a plastic bag saying it’s only one plastic bag but multiplied by 1,000,000 plastic bag users and see how our oceans and waters are polluted and clogged with them. It’s so strange that many people only see themselves in our nation and never the neighborhood.
Great reports on the latest losses for DonOld and his regime! Several people have lost hope that the midterms will even happen; I send them your reports each day to encourage them to regain that hope. When one of them told me that she didn't vote in '24, I said that she had better get it done this time. Each vote counts, along with the community you're in, you are part of the solution! Let's go, Blue Wave 🌊
We have been given the right to vote. It’s an honor and shows respect for America. If you feel disenfranchised this is the best way to vote your voice.
Early voting just opened in Georgia and Iowa. While you’re making your plan to vote, take a minute to make some noise in Congress too:
Impeach Pete Hegseth: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-congress-impeach-pete-hegseth/
Release all of the Epstein files now: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-congress-demand-acting-ag-blanche-release-all-of-the-epstein-files-now/
Ban Flock’s mass surveillance cameras: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-congress-ban-flock-mass-surveillance-cameras/
Pass the ban on AI we can’t control: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-congress-pass-the-ban-on-ai-we-cant-control/
Each one goes straight to your members of Congress. Tell me below which ones you sent.
Early voting starts on the 19th in South Caroline. Fingers crossed that Annie Andrew can add to the wins in the Senate.
I can't send any of them. I keep getting an error message & to try again, but I get the same message no matter how many times I try.
Will try again later.
Randi, I sometimes get that message when I need to reconnect to the WiFi. Just a thought. :-)
Thank you. I'll try that.

Come on, Iowa. Stop being creepy children of the corn and rejoin democracy.

This issue is huge. We can get back on track. VOTE these people out of office. Support people's right to be functional, have jobs and social
Lives. A society will be judged by how we care for the ones that need it the most.
Great answer

If it didn't matter, Repubes wouldn't be trying so hard to take it away from you.

We will vote in early voting.
I voted early today in person in Georgia. I am so proud and happy I did and my vote was counted. I voted straight blue down the ticket.
I want change here in Georgia and all around the country. Tired of the grifering and corruption in DC.
Encourage your friends!
