Thanks for being here.
SOUTH KOREA SHOWS US HOW IT’S DONE
Let’s go back to December of 2024, when then-South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol declared martial law and ordered troops to actually storm parliament. Sound familiar?
Hours later, lawmakers made their way past soldiers and voted to reject the order—which Yoon then rescinded. Now, Yoon was found guilty of insurrection and sentenced to life in prison—with two of his accomplices being sentenced to decades.
In the US, someone who incited a mob to storm the Capitol pardoned his rioters, then moved back into the White House. South Korea showed us what it looks like when a democracy actually holds the line.
JUDGE HOLDS DOJ IN CONTEMPT
In Minnesota, federal judge Laura Provinzino has had enough of the Trump regime’s nonsense. Provinzino is holding DOJ attorney Matthew Isihara in civil contempt after the DOJ violated her order to return a man’s identification documents when they released him from an ICE detention center in Texas.
The contempt fine is just $500 a day until the documents are returned, but it’s something—a reminder that other judges can and should do the same. The DOJ is so overwhelmed with immigration cases that they had to borrow Isihara—a military lawyer—to keep up.
Isihara apologized, saying the order had “fallen through the cracks.” But the judge didn’t buy it. Any kind of accountability is good news. We need more judges to look the Trump regime in the eye and say they are not above the law, and that violating court orders is going to cost them—literally.
SUPREME COURT REJECTS TRUMP’S TARIFFS
Today, in a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court struck down most of Trump’s tariffs. It wasn’t just the liberal justices who pushed back. Chief Justice John Roberts penned the majority opinion, joined by Gorsuch and Barrett—whom Trump nominated to the bench.
The Court ruled that Trump exceeded his authority, and that the Constitution gives that power to Congress—not the president.
Trump stacked the Court. And the Court still said no. What does that tell you?
THE POPE TELLS TRUMP NO
Trump held the first meeting yesterday for his PR stunt, which he calls the “Board of Peace.”
France, Germany, New Zealand, Sweden, the UK, and the European Commission were all noticeably absent after declining to join. And now the Vatican has joined that list, as Pope Leo XIV’s Secretary of State said international crises should “above all” be managed by the United Nations.
Trump doubled down at the meeting, insisting that his “Board of Peace” would be “looking over the United Nations,” as if they were the UN’s bosses. He also suggested he might take military action in Iran and declared the Gaza war to be over—even though there is still violence on the ground. And at one point, he even seemed to fall asleep.
This is a “Board of Peace?” Give me a break. Everyone who refused to join this dumpster fire is looking smarter by the minute.
FORMER PRINCE ARRESTED
Yesterday morning on former Prince Andrew’s 66th birthday, police cars surrounded his home. He was then arrested on what they’re calling suspicion of misconduct in public office. Andrew is the first British royal to be arrested in almost 400 years.
Emails in the Epstein files had revealed that Andrew forwarded Epstein some confidential reports while serving as a trade envoy for the UK. Police are also investigating allegations that Epstein trafficked someone to the UK for Andrew. King Charles said “the law must take its course,” and Prime Minister Keir Starmer responded by saying “no one is above the law.”
Global accountability is just revving up. France opened multiple new criminal investigations, charges were brought in Norway against a former Prime Minister, and the countries of Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Turkey also have ongoing probes. The UN Human Rights Council even said the Epstein files may be defined as crimes against humanity.
All of this while the Trump regime is busy covering up files and redacting Trump’s name from them. Justice moves slowly, but it sure seems like a big wave of it is coming. We just need to keep pushing.
I’ve been on this story for over a decade—back when nobody was listening and Epstein was still alive to issue threats. I didn’t back down then, there’s no way I will now.
Our Midterm Accountability Project is building something the regime can’t stop—an organized and relentless movement to win back Congress. A million contacts to lawmakers by November. Billions of social media impressions monthly. And a daily news brief that demolishes maga propaganda.

Today I have two questions for you:
What did you think of Trump’s first “Board of Peace” meeting?
Are you surprised by the Supreme Court’s ruling?

They better refund Americans and not the foreign corporations who’ve seen profits soar under Trump’s tariffs.
But please yes, keep handing Trump his political lumps. He deserves every one of them.
Wait we still have a constitution? And a Supreme Court? Wow that’s great news indeed!
