Scott, I read two articles yesterday claiming Harris/Walz will win by an electoral landslide. Both articles used current sports type betting analysis or, “follow the money.”
No need to believe it. Just power on.
I have a difficult time believing there are enough misinformed, ignorant, racist, society hating, money grubbing voters sufficient to elect Trump. But I will not stop rallying for Harris(For the People).
The troubles will come AFTER the election, when Trump tries his tricks and challenges and Georgia has to hand-count the votes and election officials who are deniers start pretending they have a administrative right to decide whether or not to certify (they don't) their vote count. I'm hoping for a blue landslide, too, but then there's stupid Trump trying to convince everybody that if it 's a landslide for Harris/Walz then it isn't legit because...well, because of all those "fraudulent illegal immigrant votes". Bullshite. It's Trumpy refusing to believe that he can't arrange to "fix" it.

Great podcast, Scott! I share Nikki’s positivity. I live in Naples, one of the reddest areas of the country and I don’t see a lot of Trump signs in yards or on cars. I also follow the Letters to the Editor in the local newspaper and they are becoming more critical of Trump and DeSantis. Scott barely won in 2018 by less than 1% and I’m hopeful we can get rid of him in 24!
Rumor has it that the NC-GOP knew all about this, they had all the oppo research on Robinson, but they nominated him anyway because Trump was going to endorse him and they banked on republican voters not caring about it. Well, the polls here tell a different story. Once the truth about Robinson started coming out, his polling tanked just as Josh Stein's was picking up.
Personally, I LOVE that Robinson is staying in the race. He'll be the bell the Democrats can hang on every republican candidate, just as Madison Cawthorn was. And that's GREAT, not only for down ballot races, but also for the Harris/Walz campaign. I mean, even republicans don't want to be seen as pervs and weirdos. Too late! 😜

I also believe women will drive this election, and we want our bodies back. I’m not sure the Dobbs decision is being taken seriously enough by men. They don’t realize that even old women, like me, feel oppressed by that draconian policy. I have granddaughters and great granddaughters for whom I want the rights for bodily autonomy like their mothers.
Nikki, we need a SEA CHANGE in leadership in this stressed-out state to Democratic majority! Please the DPF needs to get a good governor candidate prepared to run and win to transform this DeSantis chaos back to what Florida was pre-Jeb!
What a powerful, uplifting podcast, especially for folks in Florida. Nikki is a force that is not only intelligent and knowledgeable but energetic and positive. I applaud her win in 2018 and look forward to more Democrats getting elected in FL in 2024. I have family in Florida and they do feel what Nikki has voiced.
