MILITARY FAMILIES BEAT REPUBLICANS

Republicans filed a lawsuit in Michigan to strip voting rights from US military spouses and dependents overseas. On top of the fact it’s horrible, they were ignoring longstanding federal law that protects those exact voters.

Michigan Court of Claims Judge Sima Patel dismissed it on Wednesday—the latest in a string of failed Republican attempts to kill the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act in court.

DNC Chair Ken Martin slammed the GOP for it: “The DNC will stop at nothing to prevent Republicans from cheating their way out of accountability in 2026.”

Republicans tried to steal votes from our troops. Everyone must remember that in November.

ROY MOORE LOST. AGAIN.

Roy Moore is the disgraced former Alabama Supreme Court Justice who lost the 2017 US Senate race to Doug Jones. He sued a Democratic super PAC that ran ads against him—initially, a jury awarded him $8.2 million.

But on Friday, the 11th Circuit unanimously threw out the ruling, in a decision written by a Trump appointee.

Attorney for the PAC Ezra Reese called it “a complete repudiation of Roy Moore’s pathetic seven-year effort to weaponize the courts … Alabama voters correctly decided that they did not want a disgusting creep like Roy Moore representing them in the United States Senate.”

Alabama rejected him in 2017. The courts finished the job.

THE BOGUS INVESTIGATION COLLAPSES

Trump’s hand-picked US Attorney for DC, Jeanine Pirro, stood at a lectern on Wednesday morning and vowed to push forward with her criminal probe of Fed Chair Jerome Powell.

Forty-eight hours later she folded, closing an investigation her own prosecutor admitted had found no evidence of any crime—and that a federal judge called baseless.

It was never a real investigation—it was a threat designed to force Powell to cut interest rates. Republican Senator Thom Tillis forced Pirro’s hand, saying he’d block confirmation of Trump’s new Fed chair nominee until the probe was closed.

They didn’t find corruption at the Fed. But they sure demonstrated it at the DOJ.

COURT KILLS TRUMP’S ASYLUM BAN

A three-judge DC Circuit panel ruled on Friday that Trump’s executive order suspending asylum at the US southern border is illegal. Judge J. Michelle Childs wrote that a president can’t turn people away without a hearing, erase the right to apply for asylum, or deport people to countries where they will be tortured or killed.

Even his own appointee to the court—Judge Justin Walker—agreed with the core of the ruling. ACLU attorney Lee Gelernt said it was an essential decision for “those fleeing danger who have been denied even a hearing.”

The regime told the world it ended asylum at the border. This court just told the regime it’s not allowed to do that.
