Good News for Us. Bad News for Trump.
Trump’s Terrible Weekend: Job Numbers Tank, Legal Losses Mount, and Kash Patel Makes Big Mistake Mid-Meal
Before we start another week of Trump’s heartless madness, I’m glad to have more good news for you today. Stories of defiance, resistance, and hope—that remind us that we’re never alone in this fight.
We’re not just reporting the news to millions of people across the world, we’re using this platform as a tool to combat Trump’s propaganda every single day. We mobilize countless folks on social media, run one of the largest Contact Congress campaigns out there, and do it all without any ads or corporate influence.
So if you haven’t yet, please support our independent journalism that fights back like few others can, by joining us as a paid subscriber today:
TRUMP’S BAD AT THIS
This week, Dem Rep. Ted Lieu slammed Trump over the recent abysmal job numbers, declaring: “Trump’s economy sucks. Last month, the jobs report was so bad that Donald Trump felt compelled to fire the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics.”
Lieu continued: “This month, the report was equally horrible. Because it turns out, when you fire the head of BLS, that doesn’t actually change the rules of math.”
CALIFORNIA MOVES TO UNMASK FEDS
California lawmakers passed a bill that bans almost all law enforcement from wearing face masks. Gov. Gavin Newsom just has to sign it into law. Similar legislation has been proposed in Congress, as well as in other states, and I’ll be sure to keep a close eye on this as things develop.
A NEW TRUMP SCANDAL
A judge ruled that Federal Reserve Governor Dr. Lisa Cook—who was wrongfully fired by Trump—will keep her position while her lawsuit against the regime proceeds.
But this story just got even more scandalous.
The excuse Trump used to fire Dr. Cook is over allegations of mortgage fraud. Supposedly, Dr. Cook labeled a vacation property as her primary residence on a loan application years ago. But guess what—documents reviewed by Reuters reveal that Dr. Cook did in fact file the paperwork correctly.
So the entire basis for firing her seems completely bogus. Either the Trump regime made a colossal mistake, or they intentionally used fake allegations to fire her. There will definitely be more to come here.
SERIOUSLY, KASH?
The night of Charlie Kirk’s shooting, Kash Patel was reportedly dining out at a restaurant in New York City when he misreported on social media that the suspect had been apprehended. It took him more than an hour to issue a correction. Must have been too busy with dinner at one of the most exclusive spots in the city.
Everyone who voted to confirm Patel should be ashamed of themselves. And we’ll be loudly calling for him to resign or be fired immediately.
SURPRISING WORDS
After the suspect was taken into custody, Utah’s GOP Gov. Spencer Cox used the national spotlight to call for calm and an end to the blame game.
While Trump was busy pointing fingers at “the left,” Cox said: “There is one person responsible for what happened here, and that person is now in custody.” Cox said some horrible things leading up to that, but I’m glad he made this statement.
AL GREEN BROUGHT THE FIRE
On Friday, Dem Rep. Al Green slammed Trump’s violent rhetoric during a fiery statement on the House floor: “If you want to talk about language that precipitates this kind of behavior, then you are gonna have to start … with [Trump].”
This is the kind fire folks need to bring every single day. And it’s exactly the kind of fearless, full-speed resistance I’ve helped lead against Trump for nearly a decade.
We deliver daily unfiltered news briefs, run a massive social media operation, and manage a Contact Congress campaign that has reached lawmakers more than half a million times since November. All without ever bending the knee, obeying in advance, or playing nice with Trump.
So if you want to back independent journalism that wrecks the Trump regime’s propaganda, please join us as a paid subscriber today:
Let’s keep building this movement together. Let’s make it unstoppable. And let’s win.
Onward!

Kash sucks. We need to know who is grabbing our people off the streets. And I’m so glad Lisa Cook is fighting for her job—and all of us.
Does that cover it?
