Trump Can’t Cancel Us: Buttigieg Rallies, Crow Claps Back, and More Good News
Cheaters, creeps, and corporate cowards: The Resistance is taking them all on
While Trump whines about how his frivolous $15 billion lawsuit against The NY Times was thrown out, I’m glad to have another round of good news for you. I hope it shows you there are great people fighting this tyrant alongside us, and gives you some relief—even if just for a moment.
We have no billionaire backers, and no advertisers here. Everything we do—our reporting, social media organizing, and Contact Congress campaign—is 100% funded by our amazing supporters. So if you haven’t yet, join us as a paid subscriber today:
BUTTIGIEG LEADS HUGE RALLY
Pete Buttigieg rallied with more than 1,000 people at the Indiana Statehouse this week to denounce the GOP’s gerrymandering scheme.
Buttigieg said: “The agenda of Washington Republicans is so unpopular that even here in Indiana they are afraid of losing … But instead of changing their policies or trying to get better results, they decided to just try to change the map instead.”
Pete told the crowd, “We have a word for that,” to which folks responded by yelling “dictatorship,” “undemocratic,” and plenty of expletives. “Okay, we have a lot of words for that,” Buttigieg said while smiling. “But the word I’m going to go with is cheating. Cheating is wrong and ... cheaters never win in the end.”
NEW EPSTEIN EVIDENCE
Trump’s Epstein scandal is not going away anytime soon. In a major development, the Treasury Department started handing over Epstein-related documents to the House Oversight Committee. This could help expose Epstein’s money trail.
Chairman James Comer—one of Trump’s biggest enablers in the House—is seeking a list of names connected to Epstein’s trafficking operation. Comer says if they can’t find a list, the committee will compile its own.
I wouldn’t trust Comer with a garage door opener, let alone a scandal this big. But thankfully, Democrats are stepping up to make sure the truth comes out.
ACOSTA TESTIFIES
Members of the House Oversight Committee also heard testimony behind closed doors from former federal prosecutor Alex Acosta—who gave Epstein the most shameful plea deal ever back in 2008.
Ranking Member Robert Garcia condemned Acosta’s handling of the Epstein case, calling it “a deeply flawed investigation.” He’s right—and it’s just one of many reasons why the entire Epstein scandal demands a new, full-scale investigation.
MORE PUSHBACK AGAINST DISNEY
Protests against Disney erupted this week in NYC, Burbank, and in Hollywood—where Jimmy Kimmel Live! is taped. People are also canceling Disney’s streaming services, cruises, and theme park visits in growing numbers.
Even the former CEO of Disney, Michael Eisner, spoke out against the company’s censorship, stating: “The ‘suspending indefinitely’ of Jimmy Kimmel immediately after the Chairman of the FCC's aggressive yet hollow threatening of the Disney Company is yet another example of out-of-control intimidation.” It sure is.
CROW STANDS STRONG
Dem Rep. Jason Crow, a decorated Veteran, spoke out forcefully against the Trump regime’s attack on free speech.
Crow said: “I went to war three times. I served and put my life on the line to protect the free speech rights of my fellow Americans, some of whom I disagree with ... Trump is now trying to silence critics. That’s not what I fought for. I won't remain silent.”
Silence is exactly what this regime wants. But like Rep. Crow, we won’t back down. After nearly a decade of taking on Trump, we’re not stopping now.
We are still delivering unfiltered news daily, we’re flooding Congress with calls and letters, and our social media operation generates billions of impressions monthly.
But in order to do more, we need all hands on deck.

Pete is the best communicator we have and Robert Garcia is an unrelenting force of nature. Comer, “wouldn’t trust him with a garage door opener”. 😄
