Great News For The Opposition That’s Horrible For Trump
Durbin reveals info from FBI whistleblower, Schiff roasts Trump on Colbert, people push back from Idaho to Brazil, and more
While Trump is “busy” suing corporate media, and pushing to get his critics fired, I’m happy to have some great news for you today.

Let’s jump in.
On top of demonstrations honoring the late great John Lewis this week, Americans came together to serve their communities. Like in Twin Falls County, Idaho, where folks lined the streets holding anti-Trump signs, and donated a truck bed full of food to the local homeless shelter. I love to see it.
One of Trump’s fiercest critics, Stephen Colbert, announced his show will be canceled at the end of this season. His bosses called it a “financial decision,” but it was clearly done to appease Trump. The good news? Colbert can go independent now, where I think he’d become louder than ever.
This week, Dem Sen. Adam Schiff went on Colbert’s show, and ripped apart Trump’s corrupt intimidation tactics. “Ever since I led his first impeachment, he’s threatened me with jail, prosecution … blah blah blah,” Schiff said. He then looked directly at the camera and declared, “Donald, piss off.” The crowd then erupted into applause.
And Trump’s numbers keep hitting new lows, with a new CNN/SSRS poll showing his disapproval rating at 58%. Still not high enough to match reality.
Brazil’s President, who goes by Lula, once again struck back against Trump’s threat to impose steep tariffs on the country. Trump is demanding that Brazil drop charges against former President Jair Bolsonaro, for his role in a failed coup.
Lula responded by saying that Trump wasn’t elected “to be emperor of the world.” No, he wasn’t. We need more world leaders to stand up to him like this.
AG Pam Bondi and Sec. of the Interior Doug Burgum staged a pointless PR stunt at Alcatraz this week. Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi responded: “With stiff competition, the planned announcement to reopen Alcatraz as a federal penitentiary is the Trump Administration’s stupidest initiative yet.”
Dem Sen. Dick Durbin sounded the alarm on how more than 1,000 FBI employees were assigned to “flag” any Epstein documents mentioning Trump. The question is, why? Durbin’s office received this information from an FBI whistleblower.
Instead of releasing that trove of documents, Trump is stalling. Because he clearly has something to hide.
Trump shouldn’t be ordering the DoJ around. It should be 100% independent of the White House.
And no corporate media outlets should be settling lawsuits over stories, or firing employees just because Trump doesn’t like them. They’re obeying in advance—something I’ll never do.
We have no billionaire puppeteers, no ads, and no nonsense. Just independent, people-powered journalism, with fierce advocacy—organizing the opposition against Trump for the road ahead.
