Great News For Us Trump Doesn't Want You To See Today
Obama and Biden provide words of inspiration, Trump’s Fourth of July event fails, hundreds of protests, and more
As Republicans celebrate hurting countless Americans with their big evil bill, I’m glad to have another edition of Great News for you today. I hope it gives you some relief from the madness—even if just for a moment.

Hundreds of anti-Trump rallies, marches, protests, and parades were held across the country yesterday. Offering a message of hope, folks stood united against the big evil bill. There are more demonstrations planned for today and Sunday.
Thousands gathered for a rally against the Trump regime at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus. It then turned into a peaceful march downtown. One of my favorite chants from the crowd was: “O, H, I, O—Donald Trump has got to go!”
Recently, protests have been held inside and outside of Home Depot stores. Carrying signs that read: “ICE out of Home Depot,” folks are pushing back against immigration arrests made on the company’s property. More of these events are popping up daily.
It was revealed by the nonprofit NOTUS that Trump’s US Attorney for NJ nominee, Alina Habba, “has quietly been under investigation by the state’s professional regulators for more than a year—putting her license to practice law at risk.” More to come on this, but one thing is clear—Habba shouldn’t be a nominated for anything.
In France, a 100-foot-tall mural titled “The Statue of Liberty’s Silent Protest,” was unveiled. It shows the Statue of Liberty with her face buried in her hands. A powerful response to what’s happening right now in the US.
Trump spent the day lying incessantly about the big evil bill—lies that I won’t share here. But some of the things at the White House Fourth of July event are definitely worth sharing. After signing the big evil bill, Trump decided to bang on the desk with a gavel—like a toddler. It was not a good image, even for him.
And at one point, Trump stood looking at the sky with a blank stare, waiting in silence for a flyover from the US military. As journalist Aaron Rupar said, that moment “never comes and Fox cuts away” from coverage. He looked weak and broken throughout the event.
Trump also spewed a bunch of unhinged gibberish that I won’t dignify by repeating here. Instead, here are some words from real presidents to honor the holiday.
Former President Joe Biden sent out a statement that read: “Today is about freedom. It’s about liberty. It’s about who we are. We’re the United States of America, and nothing like it exists in the world … we must also remember that democracy is never guaranteed—every generation must fight to maintain it.” And fight, we will.
While former President Barack Obama shared: “The single most powerful word in our democracy is the word ‘We.’ ‘We The People.’ ‘We Shall Overcome.’ ‘Yes We Can.’ America is owned by no one. It belongs to all citizens.” Absolutely.
I’ve helped lead the opposition against Trump since 2016, and I’m not going to stop now. The constant maga threats against me only fuel my fire.

Thank you Scott. And Thank you France for the SOS for America. We the people are embarrassed to be part of this S***show! ☮️💔
I think the mural is powerful, and beautiful. I would love to watch a time lapse of it getting done.
