AOC gets bipartisan support, Epstein survivors speak out, and Trump flounders—the stories maga doesn’t want you to see

While Trump lies about the Epstein survivors who came forward yesterday, I’m glad to have some great news for you today. Thanks for being here, let’s jump in.

WRIGHT IS WRONG

Unfit and unqualified Secretary of Energy Chris Wright was brutally fact-checked on Twitter/X, after lying about renewable energy. Wright claimed that covering the entire Earth with a solar panel would only power a fraction of the planet.

The truth is, covering just 1% of the Earth in solar panels could power the whole planet. But the post is still up, along with the fact-check label (seen above). It’s clear Wright has no idea what he’s talking about, and should immediately resign. Instead, Trump will probably give him a medal.

HE’S THAT UNPOPULAR

A new Quinnipiac poll shows Trump at the lowest approval numbers yet this term—down to 37%. And Trump’s big evil bill is so unpopular that staff from his 2024 campaign are urging Republicans to stop calling it the “big beautiful bill.” Instead, they want to rebrand it as the “Working Families Tax Cut Bill.” Give me a break.

MORE BIPARTISANSHIP

Dem Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been working with Republicans to ban members of Congress and their families from owning or trading individual stocks. AOC said: “It is one of those rare moments where I feel like Washington is working the way that it’s supposed to work, and it feels foreign, and it feels alien.”

Several House Republicans also crossed the aisle Wednesday to vote down a measure that would have censured Dem Rep. LaMonica McIver, and removed her from committees. This is great to see.

TRUMP PROPAGANDA MACHINE INFIGHTING

Flailing maga TV network Newsmax filed an antitrust lawsuit against Fox “News,” claiming they are suppressing other right-wing channels. Fox responded to the filing, saying Newsmax “cannot sue their way out of their own competitive failures.”

I love this for both of them. Let the infighting between Trump’s propaganda outfits continue.

SURVIVORS SPEAK OUT

Yesterday, there was a big rally and press conference at the Capitol featuring survivors of Epstein’s abuse. Their message was loud and clear: Release the files and stop the cover-up. The Trump regime ordered military flyovers that happened to coincide with the press conference, but it did nothing to stop the truth from coming out.

One of the survivors, Lisa Phillips, says the group will be putting their own list of abusers together. They might share that list publicly, if the DoJ continues to stall.

Survivor Hayley Robson bravely spoke directly to Trump, saying “meet me in person so you can understand this is not a hoax.” There is more to come on this front.

KENNEDY MUST RESIGN

In an op-ed in The New York Times, 9 former directors and acting directors of the CDC spoke out against HHS head Bob Kennedy. It was titled: “We Ran the C.D.C.: Kennedy Is Endangering Every American’s Health.”

“This is a time to rally to protect the health of every American,” they wrote. Adding that the country “deserves an HHS secretary who stands up for health, supports science and has their back.”

And just yesterday, more than 1,000 HHS employees demanded his resignation “for compromising the health of this nation.”
