Although I've really liked using your various links to write to my Senators, my Rep is wrong, has been wrong, still is wrong. There's no point in using your link, when I'm not contacting the correct Rep. My Rep is maga. I would call him ultra Nazi maga. If I can't send a letter to him, I'm not sending a letter to the wrong Rep who happens to be Democrat, that knows I'm not in her district. I've commented multiple times about this. You said they were aware and were correcting it. That was long ago. I give up.

You can't get through unless you use an address in their district, so use an address next to one of their district offices.

If you use your own address, your Rep comes up wrong, too? Wild that we have to make up some address near our Rep office to contact them. In my case, that's over an hour from my own address, just to contact LaHood. Not to mention I don't know addresses/streets near his district office. I spoke with Scott about this before. He said watchdog is aware of the error and were correcting it. That was months ago.

I used one of their district offices addresses when I wrote to every Dem senator before the vote on the continuing resolution. I didn't expect Schumer to fold like a used napkin.

I don't have a problem using my address to contact IL senators. Have you tried using your own address in the box at the Watchdog site? What it does, is put me in the wrong district. It has me in the district beside me, not the district my address is in. That's the issue, that's the issue that needs fixed. Isn't Shumer a senator for ALL of NY? I know Durbin and Duckworth are for IL. So the address I'm giving doesn't matter, unless I'm not from that state. However, IL is separated into districts. All states are. Each district has a Rep that is supposed to represent them in the House of Representatives. Contacting the Rep makes no sense. She can tell from my address I'm not her constituent. No one IN town are her constituents, people to the east are.

Try adding your address for the next letter you send. Your congress people will all be there.

Please give us heads ups when you’ve made draft messages so we can send email blasts! I’m not good at making calls, but I rock at emails and protests! And sending the links to others.

Scott, did you see that the republicans slipped a piece into their bill that keeps AI from being regulated for 10 years?

The work you and all the fellow-supporters do is simply mind-boggling. You are a true hero, Scott! I want everyone to know that this is the ONLY political Substack I contribute to - the other one is a writer, so that counts too although in a different way. I always wish I could contribute more.

I just flashed on what it was like when you first began doing this work, Scott. It was a pretty bleak landscape, and you were one of the only hopeful signs around. Thank you once again.

Onward!!

Thank you Scott, for leading us through these difficult times. I had no idea there were so many ways for people to get involved, especially through your Substack. I do appreciate all the information you’ve provided, and hoping, even in my current situation, I might be able to find other ways I can help too. 🙏
