It’s Monday and Trump Is Already Losing: Texas Dems Break Turnout Records, Court Blocks Mass Deportations, Kari Lake’s Actions Erased, and Virginia Schools Set To Ban Jan 6 Lies
They tried to rewrite history—so we bolted the truth to the Capitol wall

TEXAS SAW IT COMING
On Tuesday, nearly 4.5 million Texans voted in the primaries—the highest primary turnout in state history. It broke the previous record set in 2008 when Obama and Clinton were both on the ballot. And for the first time since 2020, Democrats outnumbered Republicans at the polls, in a state no Democrat has won statewide since 1994.
This wasn’t a fluke. Democrats have now outperformed in every single major election since Trump took office. Not once have Republicans matched their 2024 margins. The regime is in big trouble come the midterms.
COURTS HOLD THE LINE
The Trump regime isn’t having much luck in the courts either. Three days after announcing the end of protections for 350,000 Haitians, Kristi Noem said Haiti was one of those “damn countries” in a social media post. That post was later cited by a federal judge as evidence of bias—and used to halt the deportations.
On Friday night, a DC Circuit panel rejected the regime’s effort to block that order. The judges warned that Haitians sent home would face a “collapsing rule of law” with no access to life-sustaining medical care. For now, 350,000 people get to stay.
Also on Friday, a judge in Portland drew the line—after chemical irritants fired by federal agents at protesters outside of a nearby ICE facility seeped into a housing complex down the street.
The court issued a sweeping order restricting agents from unleashing chemical irritants in quantities that could reach the building—ever again.
KARI LAKE LOSES AGAIN
Another judge went even further than blocking the regime—by undoing every move they made to gut a news outlet which authoritarian regimes fear.
Voice of America (VOA) has broadcast into authoritarian countries without interruption since 1942. Kari Lake, Trump’s pick to head the agency that runs VOA, spent her time trying to dismantle it. On Saturday, a Reagan-appointed federal judge voided everything she did.
The judge determined that Lake was ineligible to fill the role from the start, and since she was never confirmed by the Senate, all of her actions were illegitimate from day one. This meant the regime’s mass layoffs of more than 1,000 staff—and everything else she did—were all erased.
The regime keeps stealing power. The courts keep taking it back.
THE TRUTH GOT BOLTED TO THE WALL
At 4am on Saturday, workers at the US Capitol quietly installed a bronze plaque honoring the officers who defended our democracy on January 6, 2021.
The installation was required by law three years ago, but sat in the Capitol basement while Trump pardoned 1,500 rioters and continued to lie about what really happened that day.
Workers wheeled the plaque into position only steps away from the West Front of the Capitol—where the worst of the fighting occurred. No announcement, no ceremony, no cameras. Just their tools clanging in the empty hallways.
The regime spent years now trying to rewrite history. We bolted the truth to the wall instead.
VIRGINIA IS MAKING IT LAW
One state is making sure no classroom can erase what happened on Jan 6.
Virginia will likely be the first place in the country to ban schools from teaching that Jan 6 was peaceful, or that the 2020 election was stolen. Any curriculum for students will have to describe it as “an unprecedented, violent attack on United States democratic institutions, infrastructure, and representatives for the purpose of overturning the results of the 2020 presidential election.”
The bill passed mostly on party-line votes, and Gov. Abigail Spanberger—who was a member of Congress in the Capitol on Jan 6—is expected to sign it.
Virginia Delegate Dan Helmer said: “The first step toward authoritarianism is to rewrite the history we teach our children.”
The regime tried. But Virginia said no.

I have two questions for you today.
What’s your reaction to a judge wiping out everything Kari Lake did?
Do you think Democrats will take back the House in the fall? Or the Senate?

Kari Lake gets trashed on the heels of Kristi Noem while Pam Bondi, Patel and Hegseth will soon follow. I could get used to this.
We’re not going quietly down here in Texas, y’all! What about you?
