FACT CHECK: TRUMP’S TARIFF “REBATES”

Let me be clear—since corporate media won’t: Trump is lying when he repeats over and over that Americans are going to be getting a $2,000 “rebate” check to offset the costs of his unhinged tariffs.

This weekend the regime’s chief economic adviser Kevin Hassett admitted Trump doesn’t have that authority, saying “Congress is going to have to send those monies.” So no, Trump isn’t handing out checks—he’s just lying as usual.

IN HONOR OF THE REAL TEA PARTY

Around a thousand people showed up to protest Trump during the 252nd anniversary of the Boston Tea Party. Marching while holding “No Kings” signs, the demonstration culminated with a group of activists pouring clean ice into Boston Harbor.

Martha Laposata, who attended, stated: “This is not left or right. This is not progressive or conservative. It’s being American.”

ANOTHER WHITE HOUSE DISTRACTION

The White House is desperate to distract from the fact that Trump’s all over the Epstein files.

Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson even weaponized a widely available photo of Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross with their children—seeming to imply the minors were Epstein victims, stating that the DOJ redacts “victims and/or minors.” This is nothing but disgusting propaganda.

DOJ CALLED OUT FOR DELETING TRUMP PHOTO

The DOJ removed an image from a batch of recently released Epstein files that included a photo of Trump. Their censorship backfired, drawing massive attention to what they were trying to hide. Following public outrage, the DOJ added it back.

Dem Rep. Jamie Raskin called the Trump regime out for their blatant cover-up, stating: “They have not shown any deference or respect for the victims at all, for the survivors of this nightmare ... it’s all about covering up things that, for whatever reason, Donald Trump doesn’t want to go public.”

I look forward to this being used as evidence when people are inevitably investigated and prosecuted for the cover‑up.

CBS TORCHED FOR PULLING PIECE

Recently, 60 Minutes pulled a segment on Trump’s illegal deportations to El Salvador’s CECOT prison. While new CBS News chief Bari Weiss claimed “it wasn’t ready,” a leaked email from Editor Sharyn Alfonsi reveals the story was actually killed because the regime refused to do an interview.

Alfonsi warned that by caving to this tactic, CBS has handed Trump a “kill switch” for any reporting he finds inconvenient.

Alfonsi is right. Corporate media has given the Trump regime a veto over reality while they retreat in fear. Not us. Independent outlets like ours are charging forward, leading the resistance with our Watchdog Coalition, and smashing maga propaganda with our daily news briefs.
