TRUMP BLOCKED AGAIN

Trump was originally ordered not to deploy the Oregon National Guard to Portland, so he sent in troops from California instead. In response, the judge blocked Trump from sending ANY National Guard troops to the city.

The judge scolded the Trump regime, asking: “How could bringing in federalized National Guard from California not be in direct contravention of the (decision) I issued yesterday?”

Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield said: “The judge’s order was not some minor procedural point for the president to work around like my 14-year-old does when he doesn’t like my answers.”

CALIFORNIA JOINS FORCES

Yesterday, the state of California joined Oregon’s pending lawsuit against the Trump regime. CA Gov. Gavin Newsom said: “We’re suing Donald Trump. His deployment of the California National Guard to Oregon isn’t about crime. It’s about power ... It’s appalling. It’s un-American. And it must stop.”

WARREN CALLS OUT CORPORATE MEDIA

Dem Sen. Elizabeth Warren laid into corporate media’s constant lies about Trump’s shutdown.

In a CBS interview, host Tony Dokoupil repeated the GOP lie that Democrats are fighting to give health care to undocumented immigrants. Dokoupil even admitted the argument is “not strictly true.” So Warren interrupted, stating: “Excuse me, ‘not strictly true’ ... It is a flat-out lie.”

Warren also made it clear that the shutdown “could be stopped if the Republicans in the House and the Senate would just say: ‘No more of this.’”

JOHNSON’S LIES TORCHED AGAIN

Mike Johnson was called out on NBC’s Face the Nation when he said it’s unfortunate that it’s so quiet on Capitol Hill. Host Margaret Brennan responded: “Well, you did send your lawmakers home to their districts.”

CROCKETT’S HAD ENOUGH

Dem Rep. Jasmine Crockett hit Republicans hard during an interview, stating: “Stop believing the lies that they are putting out there, and the terrible racist tropes that they are constantly using to rile people up.”

REPUBLICAN CALLS OUT JOHNSON

GOP Rep. Thomas Massie is turning up the heat on Mike Johnson. “Why are we in recess?” Massie asked. “Because the day we go back into session, I have 218 votes for the discharge petition to force a vote on releasing the Epstein files.” Release the files!

JANE GOODALL BROUGHT THE FIRE

Jane Goodall—a champion for good across the world—sadly passed away last week at the age of 91. Goodall was a worldwide leader whose work will impact countless others for generations to come.

In an interview recorded earlier this year, Goodall slammed the Trump cult, saying she had an idea for the “people I don’t like,” including Elon Musk, “Trump, and some of Trump’s real supporters.” Goodall said: “Put them on one of Musk’s spaceships and send them all off to the planet he’s sure he’s going to discover.”

Goodall also shared some enduring words of encouragement for all of us: “I want you to understand that we are part of the natural world. And even today, when the planet is dark, there still is hope. Don’t lose hope.”

“Don’t lose hope” isn’t just a message, it’s a rallying cry. When things are darkest, that’s when our movement rises up, and refuses to back down.
