Former President Jimmy Carter’s 100th birthday is on October 1st, and he has some inspiring words.
“I’m only trying to make it to vote for Kamala Harris.” That’s the message Carter’s grandson passed along.
Carter has been in hospice care for over 2 years now. He was married to his wife Rosalynn for 77 years before she passed.
Carter survived brain cancer and liver cancer. He graduated from the US Naval Academy and then served for a number of years, reaching the rank of Lieutenant. Carter went back to the peanut farm in Georgia where he was eventually elected to the Georgia State Senate, then as Governor. Shortly after that he won the presidency.
Since then Carter has been known as a humanitarian and champion for human rights. His retirement years were spent building houses for the poor, trying to set a good example for others across the world.
And his last living wish is to be able to vote for Kamala Harris. I hope his wish comes true.
Carter is a reminder of the kind of compassionate patriot we need in the White House.
On the other hand, Trump is an absolute monster who should never be in the White House ever again. America deserves better than this pathologically lying convicted felon who belongs in prison.

I grew up in a Republican household, a Republican county, a Republican state—and I’ve never yet voted for a Republican President. I honor Carter and his legacy, but, most of all, his belief that all people deserve the same rights and privileges, and I know Kamala Harris espouses those beliefs, too.
