Mamdani and Sanders Fire Up NYC, Crockett Calls Out Epstein Accomplices In Congress, and E. Jean Carroll wins again
Trump’s regime is rotting from every side
Before we jump into the great news I have for you, I wanted to let you know that today at 2:45pm ET, I’m kicking off a new season of live interviews. My first guest is TX State Rep. James Talarico, who just announced he’s running for US Senate. I’ll email a link to subscribers when we get started. Hope to see you there!
We take a sledgehammer to Trump’s propaganda machine every single day. All while mobilizing the resistance for the road ahead. So if you want to support independent journalism that fights back, please join us as a paid subscriber:
MAMDANI AND SANDERS RALLY
Sen. Bernie Sanders held a huge “Fighting Oligarchy” event in Brooklyn over the weekend—this time with Dem nominee for NYC mayor, Zohran Mamdani. The atmosphere was absolutely electric.
Mamdani genuinely connected with the crowd, at one point asking: “Make buses fast and...?” to which the crowd answered: “free!” He also asked: “We will freeze the...?” and the crowd roared back with: “rent!”
Sanders said the ruling oligarchy is “afraid of Mr. Mamdani becoming an example of what can happen all over the country … What we are here tonight to say is, to hell with you. We are going to take you on!” A Bernie mic drop moment.
UNIONS RALLY AGAINST AMAZON
Monday in New York City, workers rallied to support more than 150 unionized drivers who were fired by Amazon for going on strike. “Amazon is breaking the law and we let the public know it,” said Teamsters organizer Antonio Rosario.
My guess is Amazon thinks they can get away with the firings—because Trump is on Amazon’s side. But I sure as heck would never bet against American workers.
E. JEAN WINS AGAIN
A federal appeals court upheld E. Jean Carroll’s defamation lawsuit against Trump—along with the $83.3 million he owes her. Proof that Trump is not immune to justice.
In their decision, the court wrote: “We agree with the district court that ... Trump would not stop defaming Carroll unless he was subjected to a substantial financial penalty.”
NEW EPSTEIN EVIDENCE
A trove of Epstein evidence was released via the House Oversight Committee yesterday, including Trump’s now-infamous “birthday note” to Epstein.
The birthday book also exposed a disturbing “joke,” told by one Mar-A-Lago member, about Trump “buying” a woman from Epstein for $22,500. It’s absolutely grotesque and needs to be looked into immediately—but I’m glad to see this evidence is finally coming to light.
But wait, there’s more—a NY Times investigation revealed how JPMorgan “supported” and “profited from” Epstein’s crimes. “JPMorgan ultimately processed more than $1 billion” in “wire transfers and cash withdrawals” for Epstein’s accounts. More to come.
CROCKETT FOR THE WIN
Dem Rep. Jasmine Crockett called out those in Congress who are covering up the Epstein scandal: “I don’t care if you’re a Democrat, Republican, or independent—if you’re protecting predators instead of survivors, you don’t deserve a seat in Congress. Our oath is to the Constitution and to the people, not the powerful.”
Crockett is exactly right. That’s why we’re pressuring lawmakers every day to release the Epstein files using our massive Contact Congress campaign—which has reached lawmakers over 500,000 times since November. And we’ll continue to fight back with our social media operation, which is one of the largest ever formed against Trump.
We do all of this on top of our hard-hitting daily news briefs—without any billionaires or advertisers. So if you haven’t yet, help us take on this unhinged regime by joining as a paid subscriber today:
Onward!

I read one comment from a reader on substack the other who said your work is what keeps them going despite being circled in by threats from the Trump regime.
I agree with that sentiment, but what really keeps me going is the people like that. The ones who can find hope in the darkest days of our democracy. The ones who can push forward, no matter what comes.
Those are the people that give me inspiration.
