“We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Sometimes we must interfere. When human lives are endangered, when human dignity is in jeopardy, national borders and sensitivities become irrelevant. Wherever men and women are persecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must - at that moment - become the center of the universe.” - Elie Wiesel

Yes we need inspiration. Anything to overcome Trump. And then there was Elon Musk’s apparent Nazi salute (or one that mirrors it closely).

He was just taking his mask off. That was a Nazi salute. Check out some WW II archive video.

It sure looked like it to me. And he did it twice for emphasis. And the white nationalist MAGAs are taking it as an endorsement.

It was the Nazi salute. He knows that he doesn’t have to hide it anymore.

There will be no more fair elections in our country ever again. 😭

One mind blowing aspect of the 2024 election is that out of 244 million eligible voters, only about 77.5 million (31.8 %) voted for HIM, and about 30.4 % voted for Harris. That leaves about

38 % who DIDN'T VOTE! This should tell an informed observer that 68 % of the eligible voters either voted for their complete ruin, or for their life of unrivaled economic status, or allowed themselves by omission to be swallowed by the monster. Some have said that indeed we are species with a primitive world view as indicated by the numbers. Tell me it isn't so!

Scott, thank you for relating your experience with MLK III. People like him, his pop, and you represent our best chance to extract ourselves from the mess we are in!

Thanks, Scott, for the uplifting of spirit. Today was worse than I hoped. Musk’s Nazi salute was unexpected. However, tomorrow is another day and I will not surrender to the evil personification that is Donald Trump.

Today, my thoughts were on MLK, President Jimmy Carter, their character and their inspirational messages. The thought of these two leaders helped me navigate the first day of the many depressing and uncertain days to come under President Frumpy. Hoping MLK and Jimmy leadership guide us compassionate and loving people to resist, fight and effectively proceed forward making positive change against the oppression, white supremacy, domination and greed. Right now the thought of fighting Dictator Frumpy, the Oligarchs, and MAGA feels scary, overwhelming and futile. Yet I have NEVER felt more committed to a cause as I do today for the youth of the nation as they get robbed of the basic necessities and the basic rights. Thanks for the inspiration from MLK, lll.

Thank you, Scott, for highlighting with MLK III, what our country once was and should be. I lived in Memphis when Martin Luther King was shot at the Lorraine Motel. It was such a sad day then with the loss of an outstanding leader whose principles have made us a better society. Until now! We are about to have a gut-wrenching reality check!

Very inspiring words…and exactly what the country needs right now. We need someone to step up in a leadership role and speak to Americans compassion and humanity! Just like tRump taps into Americans anger and fear! He has brought out the worst in us. We need someone who can bring out the best, just like MLK did!
