I completely agree with Claire!! I’m so proud of the Dems organizing and standing up to deny funding ICE any further. This is the first time I’ve felt democratic strength in such a very long time! Keep it up! We are all with you!!

Dems are definitely doing the right thing demanding reform, and partial shutdown is our only leverage! I want ICE gone completely. Honestly, merely setting rules of conduct seems unlikely to stop these rogue masked hate mongers. Even with weak consequences, they will continue to hurt and kill anyone they don’t like.
Dems must not back down on DHS funding. (I wonder if they could initiate legislation to fund TSA, FEMA separately and use a discharge petition? Leaving DHS high and dry?)

That beautiful Pride flag should be flying at Stonewall permanently, and another should fly right outside trump’s ballroom, once it’s finished - the fun we could all have at an LGBTQ+/ cis/ all races/ all creeds/ all nationalities grand celebration of America in that space would be spectacular. Trump can mope in his room while we party.
Or we could fly the Pride flag and everyone of all walks could party down right at trump’s front door! Blast some Bad Bunny and dance, with or without our signs. Show trump what America is supposed to be: motivated by love, acceptance and the absence of fear.
Simply require each data center and server farm to install one of the new generation of small nuclear power plants with enough capacity to power the project.
Maybe cover the roof in solar panels instead. In addition to providing their own power, they need to show they will not negatively affect the water supply. And give them *no* tax breaks. They plan to make millions; they need to pay taxes on that money.
And this should be the standard for every data center and sports arena in the nation.
