TAKING ON BILLIONAIRES

“Make Billionaires Pay” protests were held all across America on Saturday. In New York City, thousands of people marched near Trump Tower, carrying signs like “America has no king” and “Can’t take a TV joke.”

Focused on Trump’s abuse of power—plus several social, environmental, and economic causes—protesters defiantly marched and rallied throughout the day.

I’m glad the anti-Trump protests are staying steady. The next round of mass demonstrations are set for October 18th, with events planned in all 50 states and DC. Organizers are hoping for the biggest turnout of the year, so let’s make it happen.

HOMAN CAUGHT

Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, is embroiled in a huge scandal. Last year, he allegedly took $50,000 in cash from undercover FBI agents posing as businesspeople seeking government contracts. After Trump and Kash Patel took over the FBI, the regime shut down the entire investigation.

In response, Dem Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stated: “Who’s the illegal now?”

NEWSOM STANDS UP TO ICE

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed bills yesterday to protect Californians against Trump’s rampant authoritarianism. They ban law enforcement from wearing masks in most cases, and require them to clearly show their name or badge number.

Newsom declared: “It's like a dystopian sci-fi movie ... and we have the right to stand up and fight back ... ICE—unmask. What are you afraid of?”

KAMALA SLAMS TRUMP REGIME

Former VP Kamala Harris powerfully spoke out against Trump’s assault on our democracy, saying: “What we are witnessing is an outright abuse of power.”

Harris added: “This administration is attacking critics and using fear as a weapon to silence anyone who would speak out. Media corporations—from television networks to newspapers—are capitulating to these threats. We cannot dare to be silent or complacent in the face of this frontal assault on free speech.”

I CAN’T BELIEVE IT EITHER

Dem Rep. Jasmine Crockett said what we’re all thinking—calling it “MIND BLOWING” to find herself agreeing with Ted Cruz over Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension.

Crockett said pulling Kimmel “isn’t cancel culture, it's UNCONSTITUTIONAL! If you stop watching Kimmel because you don’t like him, that’s cancel culture. But the Federal Government acting like ‘mob bosses’ (Ted Cruz’ language) is NOT OK!”

Former President Barack Obama also spoke out, stating: “Freedom of speech is at the heart of democracy and must be defended, whether the speaker is Charlie Kirk or Jimmy Kimmel.”

Obama is exactly right—which is why I’ve fought so hard against Trump’s assault on democracy for nearly a decade.
