ILLINOIS PUSHES BACK HARD

A fiery speech delivered by Gov. JB Pritzker last month is now going viral, in which he slammed the Trump regime harder than ever before.

Pritzker said: “Trump and his bootlickers have torn down the US Department of Education from the inside … Books are being banned. History is being erased.” And the crowd responded with a standing ovation when Pritzker stated: “I’m sorry to be vulgar, but Donald Trump and his cronies can f**k all the way off.”

On Friday, folks gathered with local leaders in Evanston, Illinois, to protest Trump’s rampant immigration abuses. Mayor Daniel Biss told the crowd: “ICE agents have assaulted Evanston residents ... taking people off the street … because of the color of their skin. It is an outrage. Our message for ICE is simple: Get the hell out of Evanston.”

TERRIBLE POLLS FOR TRUMP

CNN released a poll this morning showing Trump’s disapproval rating is at 63%—the worst it’s been since January 2021.

While a new NBC News survey shows a majority of Americans blaming Trump and Congressional Republicans for the shutdown. And a WaPo ABC News Ipsos poll says that a mere 28% of Americans support Trump tearing down the East Wing of the White House.

While we always take polls with a grain of salt, this all looks terrible for the Trump regime.

CROCKETT POINTS OUT GOP SNAP FAILURES

Dem Rep. Jasmine Crockett set the record straight on MSNBC, about the bogus Republican complaint that too many Americans use SNAP benefits.

“You gotta look at the reasons that they’re on SNAP,” Crockett said. “Under the failed leadership of this administration, this country has seen a loss of a million jobs … we need to work on economic policies that will put people into a position in which they are not the working poor where they are still needing the $6 a day to eat.”

NEWSOM KEEPS BRINGING IT

During an interview aired yesterday, Gov. Gavin Newsom explained why he has been writing like Trump does on social media. “It was becoming normalized,” Newsom said. “He’s dressing up as the Pope. As Superman … It’s madness. And so I put a mirror up to that.”

Newsom continued: “This is a historically unpopular president ... In every core category he’s under water ... His recklessness aside, his style aside, the substance—he hasn’t delivered.”

SPANBERGER AND SHERRILL’S FINAL SPRINT

Democratic nominee for Virginia governor, Rep. Abigail Spanberger, delivered one of her closing messages before tomorrow’s election. In front of a packed audience, Spanberger said: “With the political turmoil coming out of Washington right now, this election is an opportunity.”

“Let me be as clear as I possibly can be,” Spanberger continued. “I will always stand up for Virginia families. I will always work to grow our economy. And I will always put Virginia—not a president, not a party—first.”

And Mikie Sherrill—Democratic nominee for New Jersey governor—held a massive rally this weekend, where she said: “Right now, [Trump] is running a worldwide extortion racket. You pay more for everything … as Trump pockets billions … a better future is possible if we work hard and fight for it.”
