Happy Monday, thanks so much for being here. We are now just 15 days away from the midterm elections, and I’ve got some stories that should put a little spring in your step.
But before we jump in, hit the ❤️ like button, then restack. The Trump regime spent months refusing to release their ballroom donor list. Every restack puts that list in front of one more person they hoped would never see it.
I’ve been fighting Trump since 2016, and there’s no way I’m slowing down this close to Election Day. On top of delivering great news to your inbox daily, we will continue to release our exclusive investigations into GOP Senate candidates, and put them in front of millions of voters every day in the states that decide Congress. All while running our enormous social media push against Trump.
We proudly have no advertisers and no billionaires here. Paid subscribers make that independence possible. They also get my breakdown of the 11 House races that just moved our way, including a Montana seat Trump won by 12 that’s now a toss-up. Join us here:

Saturday, No Kings Went And Voted
We’ve been calling Trump a wannabe king for years—long before the marches. Last October, after millions of people marched for No Kings, Trump posted an AI video of himself wearing a crown and flying a jet marked “King Trump,” dumping what looked like sewage on the crowd below.
On Saturday we came back with thousands of events across the country, and this time we were focused on getting people to vote early. We pushed it hard online too. We trended #VoteEarlyForNoKings on October 13 and #VoteEarlyOnNoKings on the 16th, both on X and Bluesky, and each one reached millions of people.
In Salt Lake City, an estimated 2,000 to 3,000 people marched from the Capitol to a ballot drop box by the main library. “This year we’re filling the ballot boxes,” said Sarah Buck of Salt Lake Indivisible.
At the box, voters held up their yellow ballots, then dropped them in. It took about 45 minutes for the last one to go in, organizer Jamie Carter said. In New York, TC Collum, an 18-year-old Fordham student, said he’s mailing his first ballot ever back home to Arizona, a swing state.
Trump’s crown was fake. Our ballots are real.

The Spreadsheet Trump Never Wanted You To See
Trump said his ballroom was “paid for a hundred percent by me and some friends of mine.” Last week the Washington Post got the fundraising spreadsheet. It shows $333 million in gifts, and Trump isn’t on the list of donors.
Look at who those friends are. In 2022, banker Julio Herrera Velutini was charged with bribery. After Trump won, his daughter Isabela gave $3.5 million to Trump’s super PAC. Her only political donation on record before that was $20. In August 2025, Julio’s charges were cut to a misdemeanor in a plea deal. The next month, she committed $2.5 million to the ballroom. In January, Trump pardoned her father.
Then there’s Charlie Ergen, who co-founded Dish Network. In May 2025, Trump’s FCC threatened to pull the wireless licenses his company, EchoStar, needed to survive—then dropped its investigation. Later, Ergen committed $25 million to the ballroom while EchoStar’s sale of licenses to AT&T waited on federal approval. This May, the regime approved it.
Both of these “friends” needed something from the Trump regime, and both got it after they pledged the money.
The White House called the conflicts “fake” and vowed to “relentlessly pursue” whoever leaked the list. Democrats in Congress spent months asking for these names and got stonewalled. If Democrats win the House, we’ll be pressuring them hard to subpoena every one of these donors in January.

Judge Furman Cracks Trump’s War Crimes Gag Order
In February 2025, Trump signed an order going after the International Criminal Court (ICC), which tries war crimes. Trump blacklisted its officials, and said anyone in America who helps them could face up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
Last October, ten American taxpayers started working with lawyers to send evidence to that court’s prosecutor—saying US officials helped Israel commit atrocities in Gaza. But under Trump’s order, sending their evidence in could count as helping the officials he’d blacklisted, and that meant risking prison time. So they held their case back and sued in US court instead, along with DAWN, the group journalist Jamal Khashoggi founded before Saudi agents murdered him.
Last Tuesday, US District Judge Jesse Furman ruled that while the case goes on, the regime can’t punish DAWN or the ten taxpayers for this work. He found the order likely violates their free speech rights. Furman had already ruled against this part of Trump’s order once before, in a nearly identical case. This time, the regime’s lawyers didn’t even try to say he’d gotten it wrong. They made “no effort even to argue” it, he wrote.
Both sides have until Tuesday to tell Furman what comes next, including whether to make that protection permanent. DAWN says it will restart its work with the court. “Our work is far from over,” said Anna Marie Stenberg of the taxpayers’ group.
Trump wanted people too scared to say a word, and for now, a judge has made sure these ten don’t have to be.

These Cities Just Told Data Centers No
In Perris, California, a city planner told the council that one data center can go through anywhere from 200,000 to millions of gallons of water a day. The average home uses 150 to 200.
So on Tuesday night, the city council voted unanimously to ban data centers. When they did, the crowd erupted in cheers. Resident Christian Sandoval spoke at the meeting. He said: “Last thing we want to come back to is that noise of a data center, worse water, more bills to pay.”
Just the night before, Dover passed the state of Delaware’s first data center moratorium—an 18-month pause—without a single no vote. Lexington, Kentucky’s city council also voted to extend its pause through October 2027.
Trump is one of the biggest supporters of these monstrosities. In July 2025, he signed an order to speed up construction of data centers—handing out federal loans, grants, and tax breaks as incentives to the companies building them.
Oddly enough, some of the biggest names in the data center business—Nvidia, Microsoft, Amazon, and Meta—are all on his ballroom donor list. I’m sure that’s a coincidence.
Perris Councilmember Marisela Nava said the “general welfare of our community should never be up for negotiation.” Trump can sign all the orders he wants. He doesn’t get a vote in Perris.
We’re only 15 days out from the midterms, and Trump is losing ground in places that used to be solidly red. But we are still full speed ahead. Because polls don’t vote. People do.
We are completely independent with no billionaire or advertiser to boss us around. That’s the only way we can bring you the facts every single day while helping lead the resistance.
Our Watchdog Coalition trended a hashtag every weekday last week, including #BlueWaveIn20Days and #TrumpsAbuseOfPower on Bluesky and X. It’s the largest social media campaign ever against Trump, and we’re not letting up. We’ll keep delivering our exclusive investigations into GOP Senate candidates and getting the truth in front of millions who haven’t voted yet.
Paid subscribers make all of it possible. To show my thanks, they get my breakdown of the closest races three times a week. Starting October 27, that becomes a briefing every morning. And on November 3 at 8:30 PM Eastern, they get an exclusive invitation to join me live in our war room as we call the results. Join us for the home stretch—and beyond:
Before you go, hit the ❤️ like button and restack so everyone you know sees that people are already voting against Trump.
Onward!
Scott
Did you go to a No Kings event Saturday? What did you see?
Have you already voted? If not, what’s your plan?
What would you tell a friend who thinks one vote won’t matter this year?
