JUDGES PUT TRUMP’S LAWYERS ON THE CLOCK

Thirty-five former federal judges filed a motion on Wednesday telling a Miami court, in writing: “The Court was deceived.” On Friday, Judge Kathleen Williams agreed it was worth investigating.

Here’s what they saw. Trump sued his own IRS. Then, behind closed doors, his own Justice Department cut him a deal: $1.776 billion in taxpayer money for Trump’s friends, and a promise his family would never face IRS scrutiny again. Trump quietly dropped the lawsuit—pocketing the deal before anyone could challenge it.

Now Williams has ordered Trump’s lawyers to explain themselves by June 12—including whether they colluded to settle the case “to avoid judicial scrutiny,” and whether “the Court was the victim of a fraud.” She put Trump’s lawyers on the clock to answer for it. And they aren’t the only ones coming for this deal.

JUDGE FREEZES THE SLUSH FUND

On Friday, a federal judge stopped the money in Trump’s slush fund cold.

US District Judge Leonie Brinkema in Alexandria, Virginia, blocked the regime from paying out a single dollar. The judge went further, barring it from even setting the fund up or operating it while the lawsuit against it plays out—because once that money is gone, you can’t claw it back.

The plaintiffs who brought the case make the story impossible to spin: a prosecutor the regime fired, and a college professor a jury acquitted after he was dragged into court for protesting an immigration raid. The regime built the fund to pay its friends and punish its enemies. These are the regime’s enemies, and they just won the first round.

ICE AGENT ARRESTED

In January, an ICE agent fired through the front door of a Minneapolis home—knowing people had just run inside—and shot a Venezuelan man named Julio Sosa-Celis in the leg. Then he lied, claiming Sosa-Celis and another man came at him with a shovel and broomstick. Video proved that never happened.

On Friday morning, that agent—Christian Castro, 52—was arrested in Texas. Minnesota investigators tracked him down. Texas Rangers and federal inspectors put him in cuffs. He faces four counts of assault and one count of falsely reporting a crime in connection with the shooting.

For months the regime insisted its agents were untouchable. Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty said otherwise—and Friday she proved it. “Today’s arrest is a critical step forward in our prosecution,” she said. Her office is pursuing accountability, she added, “on behalf of Mr. Sosa-Celis, his family, and our community.”

THEY WON’T BE HIS PROPS

JD Vance runs something called the Task Force to Eliminate Fraud. It has found very little fraud. What it has done is freeze money—Medicaid and child care funds yanked from Minnesota, and $10 billion more held back from five states that all happen to be led by Democrats. A judge had to step in just to keep some of it flowing to the families who depend on it.

Then Vance invited two dozen Democratic attorneys general to a “bipartisan” meeting about fighting fraud. The invitation landed on a Friday afternoon with no agenda and only one business day to RSVP—a full week after Republicans got their invite.

The Dem AGs saw it for what it was: a photo op, staged so Vance could tell the cameras both parties were at the table while the regime keeps starving their states.

So they didn’t show. Twenty-four AGs signed one letter and refused together. California AG Rob Bonta said it straight to the cameras: “We won’t be used as props in Vance’s political performance.”

Vance wanted a friendly room full of nodding faces. He got a half-empty table—and two dozen officials who just showed the country exactly how you say no.

So don’t let anyone tell you the fight is lost.

The regime needs you to believe it’s already over—that the corruption is too big, the machine too strong, the deck too stacked to bother. That’s the lie that does their work for them. A country that believes it can’t win stops trying.
