Today President Biden was scheduled to speak in Las Vegas, NV at the UnidosUS Annual Conference, which I was going to cover. Sadly, Biden had to cancel due to the fact that he tested positive for Covid.
During the speech Biden planned to announce that starting August 19th some spouses of US citizens will be protected from deportation, can apply for permanent residency and get work permits. This could help nearly half a million immigrants.
Trump’s barbaric plan is to do raids across the country as part of the mass deportation of millions of immigrants, which is absolutely horrifying. Trump also has pushed the disgusting rhetoric that migrants are criminals “poisoning the blood” of America.
Regarding Covid, let’s never forget how hard Biden worked on the recovery of our country during Covid’s peak, helping to pull us out of the pandemic hell that Trump brought us into.
Whether it was vaccine distribution, getting masks back on the market or our economic recovery, which has been stellar.
You’ll probably see some horrible coverage on Biden having Covid on mainstream media. Don’t listen to any of the hypotheticals from pundits. I can already see some folks spinning this way out of control.
Here is the official statement from the White House:
President Biden is vaccinated, boosted, and he is experiencing mild symptoms following a positive COVID-19 test. He will be returning to Delaware where he will self-isolate and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time.
We will continue to give Biden fair coverage and warn everyone about the dangers of a Trump Project 2025 presidency.

From President Biden's Doctor: The President presented this afternoon with upper respiratory symptoms, to include rhinorhea (runny nose) and non-productive cough, with general malaise. He felt okay for his first event of the day, but given that he was not feeling better, point of care testing for COVID-19 was conducted, and the results were positive for the COVID-19 virus. Given this, the President will be self-isolating in accordance with CDC guidance for symptomatic individuals. PCR confirmation testing will be pending. His symptoms remain mild, his respiratory rate is normal at 16, his temperature is normal at 97.8 and his pulse oximetry is normal at 97%. The President has received his first dose of Paxlovid. He will be self-isolating at his home in Rehoboth.
