Democrats Continue To Block ICE Funding, Blue States Vow To Sue, Teachers Strike, and Trump's Epstein Nightmare Explodes
Plus, Ramirez torches ICE
Every single day Trump’s attacks on our democracy are becoming more relentless. But the resistance is hitting back harder.
Democrats are blocking all ICE funding, blue states are burying Trump’s EPA in climate lawsuits, teachers are striking for living wages, and Rep. Jamie Raskin just revealed that Trump’s name appears in the Epstein files one MILLION times.
Today’s news brief proves that actions have consequences, even for Trump. Let’s dive in.
BLOCKING ICE
A new internal DHS document obtained yesterday showed that 86% of the immigrants ICE has arrested over the last year had no violent criminal record.
Those numbers make it clear why Democrats in Congress are still blocking any new DHS funding. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said: “We will not vote for another penny of funding until enforcement is radically scaled back and we have judicial warrants in place.” Democrats also rejected Trump’s latest terrible proposal, calling it “incomplete and insufficient.”
In a hearing on Tuesday, House Democrats directly confronted ICE leadership. Rep. LaMonica McIver asked acting ICE Director Todd Lyons: “Do you think you’re going to hell?”
Rep. Delia Ramirez brought the fire: “I have as much respect for you as I do for the last white men who put on masks to terrorize communities of color. I have no respect for the inheritors of the klanhood and the slave patrol. Those activities were criminal and so are yours.”
This is the kind of hardball we’ve been demanding—and deserve—from everyone.
MORE GAS FROM THE WHITE HOUSE
Just yesterday, the Trump regime confirmed it is revoking the 2009 EPA “endangerment finding,” essentially gutting all regulation for greenhouse gases. It’s a gift to his rich oil donors, which is already backfiring spectacularly.
States like California, New York, and Washington are already fighting back, vowing to file dozens of coordinated lawsuits aimed at keeping the regime buried in court for years—and Trump will likely lose badly. The 2009 finding was based on overwhelming scientific evidence, so Trump would need to prove to the courts that science has changed. Which he can’t.
Progressives are introducing legislation to codify greenhouse gas regulations, forcing Republicans to vote against protecting our environment right before the midterms. Trump thought he could just give the entire planet to oil executives, but what he’s actually done is united the climate movement against him.
SAN FRANCISCO TEACHERS’ STRIKE
More than 6,000 teachers in San Francisco went on strike starting Monday, for the first time in nearly 50 years. The educators have simple demands—among them are smaller class sizes and living wages.
The strike has had a massive amount of support, with even parents joining the picket lines. And thousands protested downtown yesterday demanding the school district actually invest in their teachers.
“We don’t want to be striking … we just got news … that schools are going to be closed tomorrow. So it feels like a big F-U to us,” said teaching coach Annie Wen. Other school districts in California are ready to strike as well.
These teachers are proving what organized resistance looks like—they’re not headed back to work until they win.
ONE MILLION … SERIOUSLY
Rep. Jamie Raskin just dropped an Epstein files bombshell, stating Trump’s name appears in the unredacted files 1 MILLION times. That is beyond absurd, and once again reminds us that this is the biggest cover-up in US history.
Raskin also noted that the FBI “scrubbed those files in March,” adding: “We still have not seen the vast majority of documents unredacted that have the survivor statements of the rich and powerful men who committed these crimes.”
Dem Rep. Ro Khanna and GOP Rep. Thomas Massie went ahead and released names from some of their findings which include six men: Leslie Wexner, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Salvatore Nuara, Zurab Mikeladze, Leonic Leonov, and Nicola Caputo. The pair said it only took them two hours to find the names, with Khanna stating: “imagine how many men they are covering up for in those three million files.”
We will not stop until there is justice for the survivors and victims.
The backlash against the Trump regime and their corruption is building. But corporate media won’t cover any of this honestly. They bury the wins and sanitize Trump’s corruption.
We do the opposite. I’ve been investigating the Epstein scandal for over a decade—long before it was safe or popular to do so. We expose what they hide. We amplify the resistance they ignore. And we give you the tools needed to fight back. Because our work doesn’t just inform—it mobilizes.

Onward!
