Raskin Brings The Fire To All Epstein Accomplices, Trump Has Another Oval Office Meltdown, Texas Gerrymandering Blocked, and Charlotte Rises To The Challenge
Resistance grows louder
While Trump’s “busy” throwing ketchup into the rubble at the White House, I’m glad to have more great news for you today—stories that show progress can be made if we just keep pushing. Thanks for having my back, I’ll always have yours.

Thanks for being here. Let’s jump in.
CHARLOTTE PROTESTS
Folks in North Carolina are pushing back against Trump’s immigration abuses. One example is outside Manolo’s Bakery, which closed its doors to protect folks from lurking federal agents outside of the legendary Charlotte establishment.
“I never close,” owner Manuel Betancur stated. “I think it could be the first time in 28 years that I’m going to be closing the doors of my bakery.”
People gathered near Manolo’s on Monday to protest against the Trump regime. State Rep. Jordan Lopez attended the demonstration, where he stated: “Everybody is out here reminding the federal government, reminding the rest of the city, the state, the country, that that bulls**t that they’re doing? That’s not us.”
TRUMP BLOCKED IN TENNESSEE
On Monday, a judge blocked Trump from deploying the National Guard to Memphis, Tennessee. The judge made it clear that there was no “rebellion or invasion,” so the reasons for ordering troops into the city were not valid.
Skye Perryman, head of the nonprofit Democracy Forward who is behind the lawsuit, stated: “The court is clear: No one is above the law. Not a president, nor a governor.”
GOP FAILURE IN TEXAS
On Tuesday, a panel of federal judges blocked Texas’ attempt to cheat ahead of the 2026 election, ordering the state to rely on the map from 2021. “Substantial evidence shows that Texas racially gerrymandered the 2025 map,” Judge Jeffrey Brown stated.
The ruling is a major blow to Trump and Republicans, who sought to steal 5 US House seats from Dems in Texas.
State House Minority Leader Gene Wu said the court “just stopped one of the most brazen attempts to steal our democracy … Abbott and his Republican cronies tried to silence Texans’ voices to placate Donald Trump, but now have delivered him absolutely nothing.”
REPORTER CONFRONTS TRUMP AND MBS
ABC Reporter Mary Bruce didn’t tread softly in the Oval Office on Tuesday. With Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman by his side, Bruce asked Trump: “Is it appropriate … for your family to be doing business in Saudi Arabia while you’re president? Is that a conflict of interest?”
Then Bruce said to the Crown Prince: “U.S. Intelligence concluded that you orchestrated the brutal murder of a journalist [Jamal Khashoggi]. 9/11 families are furious that you are here in the Oval Office. Why should Americans trust you?”
A squirming Trump responded by having a tantrum, attacking Khashoggi, and defending bin Salman. It was disgusting. This is another situation which warrants Trump’s removal from office. I don’t care if the votes are there, it needs to be said.
BEFORE THE VOTE
A group of survivors of Epstein’s abuse joined several members of Congress yesterday for a press conference in front of the US Capitol. Dem Rep. Ro Khanna said: “Today is the first day of real reckoning for the Epstein class.”
Survivor Haley Robson told Trump: “You have put us through so much stress ... the halt of these procedures that were supposed to have happened 50 days ago … and then get upset when your own party goes against you, because what is being done is wrong.”
While survivor Jena-Lisa Jones said: “Start acting like [a president]. Show some class … some real leadership, show that you actually care about people other than yourself.”
RASKIN SLAMS TRUMP’S COVER-UP
Before the House voted to release the Epstein files yesterday, Dem Rep. Jamie Raskin delivered a rousing speech—letting loose on Trump, Mike Johnson, and the rest of the maga cult.
Raskin said: “We want the whole truth to come out. This is the United States of America. Even the British monarchy wouldn’t put up with this. How about the American democracy? How about we say ‘no way we’re not gonna allow this cover-up to go on for one day more.’”
Raskin then spoke directly toward Trump: “You’ve got the power today, to release the entire [Epstein] file … the American people have had it.”
Then, everyone in the House voted for releasing the unclassified Epstein files except Republican Clay Higgins—who has always been horrible. The Senate vote was unanimous.
This big win is more proof that public pressure works. Trump and his accomplices did everything they could to stop this from happening, but we were relentless and they were forced to cave.
We called and emailed lawmakers every single day, generated billions of impressions on social media, and pushed back against maga propaganda with our daily news briefs.
I’m so proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish together, but this fight is just beginning. So we’ll continue moving full speed ahead, without any advertisers or corporate influence—thanks to the support of our awesome community here.
