FREE AMERICA WALKOUT

Today, the Women’s March is leading a “Free America Walkout,” with hundreds of events planned in all 50 states and DC to push back against the Trump regime. Supporters in Germany, the Netherlands, and other countries will also be participating, as demonstrators walk out of “work, school, and commerce” starting at 2pm local time.

A GIANT EPSTEIN CARD

A ten-foot-tall version of the birthday card Trump reportedly wrote to Epstein appeared on the National Mall this week. Epstein’s birthday is today, a date that also marks a year since Trump’s poorly-attended indoor coronation.

The group behind it also previously installed the infamous statue of Trump and Epstein holding hands. It’s a great reminder that the DOJ still has not released most of the Epstein files—even though they were required by law to do so over a month ago.

FACT CHECK: WE PAY THE PRICE FOR TRUMP’S TARIFFS

One of Trump’s most frequently told lies is that other countries are paying for our tariffs. But a new study from the Kiel Institute for the World Economy makes it clear that’s a lie. According to the report, American consumers and businesses are paying 96% of the tariff costs, while foreign exporters pay only 4%.

Also, a recent ABC News/Ipsos poll shows that most voters say their wallets are hurting due to Trump’s unhinged tariffs. And it doesn’t help that the regime does nothing to address rising costs.

NO NOBEL FOR TRUMP—EVER

A lot of people were nervous about whether or not Trump’s pressure campaign to win a Nobel Peace Prize would work. Not only did he fail miserably—Trump pretty much guaranteed he’ll never win one after his latest stunt.

Trump sent a nasty message to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre that read: “Considering your country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize ... I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of peace.” In that moment, Trump ripped his mask off, revealing a fragile and vindictive authoritarian who apparently needs to win a gold medal in order to pursue peace.

And the world is mocking his so-called foreign policy. Before an NBA game in London on Sunday, a fan yelled “Leave Greenland alone” during the national anthem—and the crowd erupted in cheers.

Our allies, on the other hand, are taking Trump’s tantrums seriously. Eight European countries issued a joint statement saying “we stand in full solidarity” with the people of Greenland. Good.

A SOLDIER RESPONDS

Rep. Jason Crow, an Army Veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, has had enough of Trump’s antics. He asked: “When will Republicans finally grow a spine and stand up to this reckless President? Donald Trump is throwing away America’s alliances over stupid and petty personal grievances. His actions are dangerous.”

Crow is absolutely right. Trump is alienating our allies, attempting to fracture NATO, and selling off access to the highest bidder.
