DOGE VIDEOS STAY UP
The regime tried to bury the evidence. A federal judge just told them no.
The National Endowment for the Humanities has funded American history, culture, and education initiatives since 1965. Last year, two DOGE political appointees—Justin Fox and Nathan Cavanaugh—gutted it in 22 days.
Their method? Feed grant descriptions into ChatGPT and ask it to flag anything it deems as “DEI.” The AI flagged hundreds of projects—including one documenting Jewish women’s slave labor during the Holocaust. It also flagged projects preserving Native languages and grants that mentioned “Black” or “homosexual”—but not “white.”
That recklessness wiped out $100 million in humanities grants. Organizations sued over the cuts, leading to Fox and Cavanaugh being forced to testify. It did not go well for them.
In their depositions, Fox couldn’t define DEI and Cavanaugh admitted their actions never reduced the federal deficit. When video of that was made public, the regime panicked—sending the DOJ running to court, demanding they be pulled down.
US District Judge Colleen McMahon rejected the DOJ’s attempt to take down the videos, ruling the government couldn’t prove “particularized harm” sufficient to override the public’s right to see what its employees did in office.
MLA Executive Director Paula Krebs said: “The depositions document what had not before been documented: how DOGE worked to silence projects that tell the American story.”
The videos stay up. They’re everywhere.
THE FIGHT AGAINST BIG TECH
Last Wednesday, the regime gave Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg a seat on Trump’s presidential tech council.
The day before, New Mexico AG Raúl Torrez prevailed at trial—making New Mexico the first state in the nation to beat a major tech company for harming young people. Torrez sued Meta in 2023 after his office created a fake profile of a 13-year-old girl on their platforms—immediately flooded with solicitations from predators. Torrez won a verdict of $375 million—the maximum under state law.
The next day, a California jury found both Meta and Google liable for deliberately designing their platforms to addict children. One of the jurors said: “We wanted them to feel it. We wanted them to realize this was unacceptable.”
Two states, two juries, two verdicts in two days. Twenty-four strangers in two courtrooms told him the same thing—you are not untouchable.
A PRISON TAKEN FROM TRUMP
The Choctaw Nation saw what the regime was trying to put next door. So they bought the building first.
The warehouse was a shuttered 1.24-million-square-foot Big Lots distribution center in Durant, Oklahoma. It was being eyed as a potential ICE prison capable of holding an estimated 8,500 detainees. It was around 1,000 feet away from their daycare and child education center.
The Choctaw Nation is the third-largest tribal nation in the US, with more than 230,000 members. They were the first nation forcibly removed from their homeland on the Trail of Tears.
Chief Gary Batton: “I can’t imagine putting a detention facility within 1,000 feet of the White House or the State Capitol.”
The deed is signed. The beds will never be filled.
A GENERAL STRIKE
On Saturday, millions filled the streets. In St. Paul, Minnesota, the next move was announced: a general strike on May 1.
In January, Minnesota workers and businesses shut down for a day to protest ICE’s deadly raids. Now that action is going nationwide. “It is a tactical escalation,” Indivisible co-founder Ezra Levin said. “It is an economic show of force.”
On May 1, that means no work, no school, no shopping. Major labor unions have already signed on. The whole country is being asked to stop—together—for one day.
This is what it looks like when we go on offense. The momentum is ours. And we will use that to propel us to a midterm victory.
That’s why we launched our Make Trump A Lame Duck campaign—because we need to use everything we’ve got to flip the House and Senate. Be part of it by becoming a paid subscriber today:
