THE NEXT DAY

A day after Trump had protesters yelling in his face before dinner, former President Joe Biden went out to eat at a different DC restaurant. And guess what? No protesters. Just applause, cheers, selfies, and handshakes.

FOR NOW, NOT CHICAGO

Instead of Trump sending the National Guard to Chicago—for now—he’s sending them to Memphis, TN. Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker didn’t celebrate the news, saying: “It's disturbing that [Trump] is hellbent on sending troops onto America's streets. Using those who serve in uniform as political props is insulting. None of this is normal.”

Chicago’s Mayor Brandon Johnson credited the community for pushing back: “Because of the unified opposition … the Trump administration backed down.”

AOC DOES IT AGAIN

I’m not sure how Dem Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez pulls it off, but once again she is working with Republicans on things that actually help America.

AOC joined forces with GOP Rep. Nicole Malliotakis on a bill to fund Healthy Start—which provides healthcare and birthing assistance to mothers and families with young children in 39 states, Puerto Rico, and DC. Their legislation would help fund the program through 2030.

REMEMBER CAWTHORN?

In other news, do you remember disgraced former GOP Rep. Madison Cawthorn? Well, he was arrested—again—this time for failing to appear in court. And to think, he was trying to make a political comeback. No thanks.

FBI AND KASH GET SUED

Former FBI officials sued the Trump regime, including Pam Bondi, and Kash Patel—claiming they were fired in retaliation for investigating Trump. The three former staffers, who have over 90 combined years of experience at the FBI, are asking to be reinstated with backpay. I hope they win.

WHO ARE YOU PROTECTING? OH, TRUMP

Next week, Kash Patel will appear before the House Judiciary Committee. In preparation, Dem Rep. Jamie Raskin is demanding Patel show how far the FBI and DoJ went to cover up evidence of Trump’s Epstein ties.

In a letter to Patel, Raskin stated: “You know precisely who is implicated in the Epstein files, yet you refuse to release them. Who are you protecting and why?”

Just release the files, already!

SO COLD

Just one day after Charlie Kirk was shot, Trump was on TV doing that weird fist-pump dance to “YMCA” at Yankee Stadium. And earlier on Friday, when asked on Fox how he could unite the country, Trump shrugged and said: “I couldn’t care less.”

Later in the day, Trump was asked how he was “holding up.” He coldly responded: “Very good. By the way, right there you see all the trucks. They just started construction of the new ballroom for the White House.”

This is what we’re up against—a selfish buffoon who “couldn’t care less” about the country he claims to lead. That’s why I’ve spent nearly a decade taking on Trump. And I’m not about to slow down now.
