Somebody Filmed The Bulldozers. Then Everything Stopped.
Plus: a judge sent the FBI back to Maryland, Trump’s Nevada prosecutor was thrown out, and the DOJ quit chasing children’s medical records
Thanks so much for being here. I have some big news to share with you today. More corruption to expose from the Trump regime, along with some great wins.
But first, hit the ❤️ like button and restack this one—someone in your life needs to know that bulldozers were halted in a national park because people stood up. Your share brings this story to them.
And if you haven’t yet, join us as a paid subscriber. You’ll be supporting our reporting, our organizing, and investigations like the one we’re publishing this week on where the regime’s money is really going. We run one of the largest pressure campaigns on Congress out there, along with an enormous social media push against MAGA propaganda.
I’d love to have you help us flip Congress by fueling our movement today:
A Judge Sends The FBI Back To Maryland
Maryland spent over a decade competing to be the home of the new FBI headquarters. It eventually won, after Prince George’s County promised hundreds of millions in funding and secured a site in Greenbelt.
The Trump regime tried to take it away, demanding the FBI use the Reagan Building in DC instead. They went after the money Congress already set aside for Maryland.
On Monday, Judge Theodore Chuang put a stop to it, ruling that the move was “not in accordance with law.” Chuang barred FBI Director Kash Patel from relocating the headquarters—the law required the FBI to submit a spending plan to Congress first, and it never submitted one.
Maryland AG Anthony Brown said the ruling “cleared the path back to Greenbelt.” Gov. Wes Moore said the regime needs to stop playing games and start building.
Those 7,500 jobs are staying in Prince George’s County. A judge reminded the regime that it can’t spend money Congress didn’t give it.
The Bulldozers Stopped At Big Bend
On Sunday night, Commissioner Rodney Scott of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) put a stop to construction of Trump’s border project inside Big Bend National Park in Texas.
Local business owners turned federal contractors away at the door, while protesters gathered inside the park. Photographs of bulldozers tearing through the desert near Mariscal Mountain went viral.
Four days before he stopped it, Commissioner Scott had lied to the public, saying this was simply survey and design work. The bulldozers ran all weekend anyway.
The regime’s goal is to put up 17 miles of steel barriers and add new patrol roads along the way. It’s supposed to deter immigrants from crossing the border, even though there were only 148 encounters in the area in June.
Jeff Leach, who owns Basecamp Terlingua about 40 minutes from the park, said: “Standing up for our public lands does work.”
The contract’s still active and the machines could restart. But for now, people in the Texas desert made the regime stop.
Trump Got His Prosecutor Thrown Out
Sigal Chattah was the Republican National Committeewoman for Nevada. In 2025, the regime made her the US Attorney for Nevada—the prosecutor who decides who gets charged with a federal crime in the state.
The Senate is supposed to approve anyone who holds that job. Nevada’s Democratic Sens. Jacky Rosen and Catherine Cortez Masto both said they never would.
So the regime did their best to go around them. Chattah’s temporary appointment was running out, so she quit. That same day, then-AG Pam Bondi gave her a new title, second-in-command. Bondi claimed that title put her right back in charge.
Nevada’s public defenders proved that it was illegal, and three judges agreed. Judge Eric Miller was put on the court by Trump—he wrote the ruling.
Chattah is out, she is no longer serving in the role—and apparently never legally was in the first place. The regime has tried this trick in five other states and lost every time.
The Regime Quit Chasing Their Records
Last summer the DOJ demanded the private medical files of transgender children treated at UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania—with their names attached. They were aiming to prosecute doctors over gender-affirming care that is legal in Pennsylvania.
The hospital had already stopped providing most of that care, but four families whose children were treated there refused to give up their privacy.
Those families sued in federal court themselves, asking a judge to kill the demand. Last December, that’s exactly what Chief Judge Cathy Bissoon did.
Bissoon wrote that the government’s motives carried more than a whiff of ill-intent, calling it “closer to a stench.” When the DOJ came back offering to take the files with the children’s names removed, Bissoon said no to that too. She was the sixth federal judge to shut this scheme down.
On August 10, the DOJ quit and withdrew its appeal, which makes Bissoon’s ruling permanent. Not one record or child’s name ever left that hospital.
Mimi McKenzie, who led the families’ legal team, said those kids and their parents “can now rest easy.”
