The Regime Loses On Every Front: Trump’s Own Judge Shut Him Down, A Citizen Sued ICE, and A Governor Cornered AI Companies
Turns out they’re beatable
Welcome—pull up a chair, because the regime’s had a miserable week and I want to tell you why.
Here’s their strategy: bury the bad news, drown you in dread, and hope you never notice how often things backfire. It only works if you don’t see it. So here are four times last week the regime got beaten, embarrassed, or dragged into the daylight—and by the end I think you’ll see how weak they really are.
First, I have a favor to ask of you that only takes one second—hit the like button and restack this edition. You’re the distribution network the regime can’t buy off, and every restack carries these wins to a reader they would rather keep in the dark.
And if you’ve been reading for free: this is more than a newsletter. The Dworkin Report digs up the wins the regime tries to bury—and it’s home to our Watchdog Coalition’s campaign to flip Congress. We’ve driven more than 785,000 letters and countless calls to the House and Senate since late 2024, keeping the pressure on across dozens of fights. And we run a social media operation that puts the truth in front of millions who’d never see it otherwise.

THE REGIME’S NATIONALITY PURGE JUST DIED
Twenty-five people fought the regime this week and won. A hospital pharmacist. A registered nurse. A cancer researcher funded by our own government. Engineers with job offers in hand. All living and working in America, legally, for years—until the regime froze the paperwork that lets them stay, and started grading their applications by the country they were born in.
Think about what that freeze does. A nurse who can’t renew her work permit can’t keep her job. A green card left indefinitely on hold is a life left in limbo. That was the point.
On Monday, US District Judge Algenon Marbley in Columbus, Ohio, stopped it cold and shredded the regime’s favorite excuse. National security, he wrote, “cannot be a talisman used to ward off inconvenient claims.”
In plain terms: you don’t get to break the law and use scary words to make it disappear.
Then he went further—citing JD Vance’s lie about Haitians eating pets, a smear even Ohio’s own Republican governor called garbage. There was no threat here. Just a racist grudge on fancy letterhead.
HE EMAILED ICE. THEY SENT AGENTS.
David Streever sent the regime an angry email, and they tried to scare him quiet—but they picked the wrong guy.
Streever, a US citizen in Rochester, New York, emailed the head of ICE back in January and called him “a monstrous human being.” Five months later, while he was overseas with his 7-year-old, two federal agents climbed his porch steps past his children’s toys and left his wife a notice warning he might be breaking federal law. When he flew home, an agent tracked him to his hotel.
The message was clear: shut up.
On Monday, Streever sued. His lawyers at the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression point to the timing: if they really thought he was dangerous, they wouldn’t have waited five months to knock. This was never about a threat. It was about punishing a citizen for criticizing the government.
They sent agents to shut him up. He sent them a lawsuit.
A TRUMP JUDGE BLOCKED HIS ELECTION REVENGE
For five years, Trump has insisted the 2020 election was stolen from him in Fulton County, Georgia. This spring, the regime went hunting—demanding the name, home address, and phone number of every single person who worked that election. Poll workers. Volunteers. Even retirees who handed out “I Voted” stickers.
The same regime that once made poll worker Ruby Freeman flee her home under a barrage of threats now wanted the private information of thousands more.
On Tuesday, a federal judge said no. And not just any judge—William Ray, who Trump himself put on the bench. Ray called the demand “unreasonable” and its scope “staggering.” He noted the statute of limitations had long since expired—so this could never build a case against anyone. It could only build a target list.
They came for the poll workers. A Trump-appointed judge sent them home.
WASHINGTON SHRUGGED. ILLINOIS ACTED.
One governor just did something Washington won’t: he made the most powerful AI companies on earth prove they’re telling the truth.
Right now, when an AI company says its system is safe, you just have to take its word for it. On Monday, JB Pritzker signed the Artificial Intelligence Safety Measures Act and ended that—making Illinois the first state in America to force the biggest AI companies to prove it to an independent auditor.
And if a worker inside one of those companies sees something dangerous and speaks up, the law now protects them from retaliation.
Pritzker was clear: “As AI systems become more powerful and the federal government is unwilling to step in, states have a responsibility to protect our people,” he said.
Washington told you to trust them. Illinois made them prove it.
THEY’RE ON BORROWED TIME
Look at what the regime spent this week doing: settling scores from an election five years ago, hunting down poll workers, freezing families in limbo. That’s what losing looks like.
A regime stuck in the past isn’t a strong one—it’s a frightened one. Terrified of judges who won’t take orders, of citizens who won’t be silenced, of states that refuse to wait for permission to do what’s right. The regime isn’t as strong as the fear they sell you—and stories like these prove it.
That’s the whole reason we’re here: dragging into the daylight what they want buried. And we don’t stop at reporting. Our Watchdog Coalition puts these wins to work—driving more than 785,000 letters onto Congress’s desks since November 2024, and flooding social media daily with truth millions would otherwise never see.
When you become a paid subscriber, you don’t just fund the reporting. You join the Watchdog Coalition, and you become part of the loudest sustained resistance against Trump in the world. Get in it today:
One last thing before you go—hit the ❤️ like button and restack this edition. Every restack drags these stories in front of a reader who thought the regime was untouchable—and proves it isn’t. Thanks for being here. See you tomorrow.
Onward!
