SALT LAKE CITY BLOCKS ICE WATER
The Trump regime secretly bought an 833,000-square-foot warehouse in Salt Lake City for $145 million. They announced plans to turn it into an immigration prison—without notifying the mayor, the city council, or even Utah’s governor.
This week ICE revealed the full scope: a mega-center capable of holding 7,500 to 10,000 people. It’s positioned as a major hub in a nationwide prison expansion. ICE officials said work will be starting “in the weeks and months ahead” but couldn’t provide Mayor Erin Mendenhall with details on the environmental or traffic impacts, or the utility needs.
But Mendenhall and the Salt Lake City Council had already acted—passing an emergency law that limits new nonresidential developments to 200,000 gallons of water per day. They also rewrote the exemption for government facilities—now only buildings that provide social services qualify. An immigration prison doesn’t.
The regime needs up to 2 million gallons of water a day for the facility. The math doesn’t work in their favor—and Mendenhall intends to keep it that way.
PARENTS TO MCMAHON: GET OUT
Education Secretary Linda McMahon has been blocked from entering schools in her home state of Connecticut. Her “History Rocks!” tour bills itself as a nonpartisan civics celebration. But it’s bankrolled by Turning Point USA, Moms for Liberty, and other right-wing organizations.
Parents and students weren’t having it—forcing cancellations in Connecticut (twice), Alabama, and Massachusetts—where McMahon’s own Department of Education spokesperson said the event had to be canceled due to bad weather. There was no bad weather that day.
Connecticut Education Association President Kate Dias slammed the tour, saying: “The illusion those programs are selling is that they are not political, yet they are fully funded by political organizations.”
Protests have followed the tour to Wisconsin, New Jersey, and Illinois. In Mobile, Alabama, high school senior Red Zellner organized a demonstration before McMahon arrived—the school district canceled her visit. “We’ve shown her she’s not welcome here,” Zellner said.
Parents keep shutting McMahon out of public schools—and the list keeps growing.
DELAWARE FIGHTS FOR CLEAN ENERGY
The regime has spent more than a year trying to kill offshore wind by canceling permits and stalling projects—driving energy costs higher.
In Delaware, the fight came down to a critical substation that would bring offshore wind power to residents—enough to power more than 600,000 homes and save people hundreds of millions of dollars. The state’s own planning commission unanimously recommended approval. Sussex County’s Republican council voted 4-1 to block it anyway.
Democrats in the General Assembly fought back—passing Senate Bill 159 to strip counties of the power to block substations like this one. Sussex County then sued. But on March 25, Delaware’s Court of Chancery rejected every argument they had and ruled for the state.
Attorney General Kathy Jennings said: “Delawareans are paying more for electricity than ever—and the last thing they need is a political fight obstructing the homegrown energy that will lower their bills.” State Senator Stephanie Hansen added: “Time and again, the courts have upheld state action to propel this project forward.”
The regime’s local allies tried to kill this project. They lost. The substation gets built.
CITIZENS KILL ENORMOUS DATA CENTER PROJECT
For three years, residents of Prince William County, Virginia, fought a plan to build 37 massive data centers next to Manassas National Battlefield Park—where two major Civil War battles were fought. The project would’ve been one of the largest data center complexes in the world, requiring as much power as every data center in Northern Virginia combined.
On Tuesday, the Virginia Court of Appeals shut it down hard—unanimously voiding the three permits the project depended on. They ruled the county board failed to comply with required public advertising laws. Without the permits, the project can’t be built.
Mac Haddow, president of the Oak Valley Homeowners Association, said: “Our community never gave up and never gave in.” Elena Schlossberg, who runs the Coalition to Protect Prince William County, said: “We won. Never underestimate what a small group of citizens can do.”
Three years. One unanimous court. The data centers aren’t being built. The people won.
The regime is taking big losses on every front. Corporate media buries every one of them. We never do.
The Dworkin Report exists because the resistance needs a publication that answers to nobody except its readers. Just the journalism, the organizing, and the investigations that document every resistance win and regime loss.
Our Make Trump A Lame Duck campaign is how we turn these wins into a midterm victory. We’ve pushed 668,000 reader calls and emails directly to members of Congress to hold the regime accountable. Our social media campaigns trend hashtags and drive the national conversation every single day.

I have two questions for you today.
Parents are forcing cancellations of McMahon’s school visits across America. Should she give up the tour?
What do you think our next Contact Congress campaign should be?
