I Watched All Five Hours Of Bondi’s Testimony So You Didn’t Have To. She Protected Predators and Melted Down Completely.
Trump hired Bondi to not do her job and honestly she's crushing it
Thanks for being here and for refusing to back down. The Trump regime is throwing everything at us to break our will, but you’re proof it’s not working.
The resistance has roared back to life—stronger and more organized than ever. I’m proud to be in this fight with you.
Let’s jump in.
LEADING BY EXAMPLE IN VERMONT
Nearly a dozen activists were arrested for staging a peaceful sit-in at an ICE facility in Williston, Vermont. As the police escorted them away, they sang: “Courage, my friend, all will be well. Though it may not seem so, all will be well.”
Among those arrested was Peter Booth, who stated: “Everyone’s saying, ‘You’re so brave, this is so great you’re doing this.’ It’s nothing in comparison to how people’s lives are being absolutely destroyed.”
Their demand was simple—that the property owner cancel the lease with ICE. The demonstrators ended up sending a message that went far beyond Vermont—that they refuse to be silent while this regime is invading our communities.
OLYMPIANS SPEAK OUT
At age 54, Olympian Rich Ruohonen from Minnesota is the oldest American ever to compete at the Winter Games. And he wasn’t afraid to use a press conference in Italy to call out Trump’s abuse of power.
“I am a lawyer ... we have a constitution, and it allows us … freedom of the press and freedom of speech, protects us from unreasonable searches and seizures and makes it that we have to … have probable cause to be pulled over. And what’s happening in Minnesota is wrong,” Ruohonen said.
And figure skater Amber Glenn, who just won gold for Team USA at this year’s Olympics, stated: “I know that a lot of people say, ‘You’re just an athlete, stick to your job, shut up about politics.’ But politics affect us all. It is something that I will not just be quiet about.”
Absolutely. If you have a platform, you must use it—for good. And I’m glad these athletes are doing just that.
BONDI’S EPSTEIN COVERUP
Yesterday, Attorney General Pam Bondi testified before the House Judiciary Committee. Within minutes, it was abundantly clear the Trump regime is only interested in protecting powerful men—not in getting justice for survivors.
Dem Rep. Ted Lieu played the video clip of Trump and Epstein partying together at Mar-a-Lago, simply asking if there were minors present at that time. Bondi said: “There is no evidence that Donald Trump has committed a crime.” Lieu replied: “I believe you just lied under oath.”
At one point, Dem Rep. Pramila Jayapal asked Epstein survivors in the room to raise their hands if they still haven’t been given a meeting at the DOJ—every hand went up. Jayapal then asked Bondi to apologize. Instead, she sneered and looked away.
When Dem Rep. Becca Balint told her: “This is not a game, Secretary.” Bondi was eager to chime in: “I’m Attorney General.” Balint hit back: “My apologies. I couldn’t tell.”
When Democrats pushed Bondi hard about Epstein’s accomplices not facing prosecution, she started ranting about the stock market. After the hearing, GOP Rep. Thomas Massie slammed Bondi: “She didn’t answer anything. She came here ready to talk about the Dow Jones and the Nasdaq, which seems kind of crazy to me.”
This is what it looks like when an attorney general abandons survivors for authoritarianism. Protecting co-conspirators while screaming over simple questions. She thinks that bragging about the stock market is a good answer for why she hasn’t held anyone accountable. It’s not incompetence—this is what Trump hired her to do.
Never forget this moment, because everyone responsible for this cover-up belongs in prison. And if we build enough power, that’s exactly where they’ll wind up.
PUTIN’S PLAYBOOK DOESN’T WORK IN AMERICA
The Epstein cover-up isn’t the only one Pam Bondi is running at the DOJ. Dem Rep. Jamie Raskin confronted her during the hearing yesterday, stating: “When the FBI opened a criminal investigation into the brutal killing in Minneapolis of Renée Good—a poet and 37-year-old mother of three—by Trump’s masked paramilitary ICE agents, you shut it down.”
Raskin also brought up the fact that the DOJ tried to indict six members of Congress—all Veterans—for seditious conspiracy. When all they did was make a video reminding troops not to follow unlawful orders.
This is right out of Putin’s playbook: prosecute your opposition, intimidate them into silence, and make examples out of anyone who resists. But it’s not working—the grand jury refused to indict them.
Dem Sen. Mark Kelly responded with: “When they try to criminalize dissent, that’s when you don’t back down. That’s when you organize harder.”
LABOR FIGHTS TRUMP
“The billionaire class has declared war on working people, and we’re going to fight back,” United Auto Workers President Shawn Fain said during his recent union convention. Fain wasn’t just talking about 2026, but also 2028. They’re building a large political operation in swing states and getting organized against the regime.
“You can’t fight oligarchy in one factory at a time … You have to fight it everywhere, all at once,” Fain stated.
Our Midterm Accountability Project is doing just that. On top of our daily news brief, we’re building the infrastructure to win in the fall and beyond. But organizing at this scale takes a ton of work and it all runs on one thing—reader support.
No corporate influence. No dark money. No nonsense. Just this community standing together to fight back. So if you haven’t yet, please upgrade to a paid subscription today and help lead the resistance to victory:
Onward!

I have three questions for you today:
What did you think of Pam Bondi’s meltdown?
What are your thoughts on Team USA Olympians speaking out against the Trump regime?
What’s an act of resistance that has inspired you lately?

Bondi used MY defense! When Mom accused me of stealing a box of cookies, she immediately forgave me when I told her the DOW was up.
I mean, who wouldn’t? It works to answer any direct questions having nothing to do with the stock market.
🙄
Scott, Bondi’s performance yesterday for an audience of one was pathetic, but not a surprise. Bondi showed her lack of character when she was the AG of Florida and took a bribe to refuse to enter a law suit against Trump University. Someone should remind her that Nixon never went to jail, but his AG did. I applaud those Olympians who have spoken out against the unconstitutional actions of the Trump administration. Their athletic accomplishments have given them an international spotlight and they are using it. BRAVO!
