The Trump Playbook Failed: Michigan Blocks ICE Prison, His Own General Breaks Under Oath, and Utah Gives The GOP A Masterclass In Resistance
Plus, Trump-linked data center killed in Delaware
The regime’s playbook for crushing the resistance isn’t working. This edition is proof.

NOT IN MICHIGAN
The Trump regime bought a warehouse in Romulus, Michigan—no community input, no notice to local officials—blindsiding residents by announcing plans to turn it into an immigration prison for 500 people. It has only six bathrooms, sits on a floodplain that flooded as recently as last year, and is just one mile from an elementary and middle school.
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel and Romulus Mayor Robert McCraight filed a lawsuit on March 24 against DHS, Secretary Markwayne Mullin, ICE, and acting ICE director Todd Lyons, to block the conversion. The city council voted unanimously the night before to join the lawsuit.
Mayor McCraight was clear: “Any use proposed for this type of detention center will not be permitted because it would be in direct violation of our zoning ordinances.”
The regime can buy a building. It can’t buy Romulus.
GENERAL TELLS THE TRUTH ABOUT BOAT STRIKES
On March 19, Sen. Mark Kelly forced the truth out of the four-star general the regime put in charge of Operation Southern Spear.
Under oath before the Senate Armed Services Committee, Gen. Francis Donovan of US Southern Command sat down to testify about the regime’s 47 boat strikes which have killed at least 160 people.
Kelly pressed Donovan, asking whether the strikes were degrading cartels or just “destroying some low-level assets, boats, and killing some people and displacing some trafficking routes.”
Donovan didn’t spin it. “The boat strikes aren’t the answer,” he said, adding that the strikes are “probably not the most effective tool.”
Under oath before the US Senate, Trump’s own general told the truth. At least 160 people are dead—with no proof it saved a single American life.
A 55-YEAR-OLD LAW SAYS NO TO TRUMP’S FRIEND
Barry Sternlicht is the CEO of Starwood Capital and a self-described friend of Trump. He built his fortune buying foreclosed homes from Americans who lost them in the 2008 crash. His plan for Delaware called for a data center—supported by 516 diesel generators and 2.5 million gallons of stored diesel.
Standing in his way was Delaware’s independent Coastal Zone Industrial Control Board and a 1971 law that bans heavy industry from the state’s coastline.
After losing before Delaware’s environmental regulator in February, Starwood appealed to the board—a body that hadn’t ruled on a case since 2021.
Over three days of hearings, Starwood’s lawyers argued the generators aren’t a tank farm and the exhaust pipes aren’t smokestacks. Board member Willie Scott asked the question the law was built to answer: “No matter what you call a collection of tanks … holding two-and-a-half-million gallons of oil—is that the right thing to have in the coastal zone?”
Board member Robert Snowden said: “If 1.2 gigawatts of power being consumed isn’t heavy, I don’t know what is.”
On March 26, the board voted unanimously to block the project.
UTAH VOTERS BEAT GOP GERRYMANDER SCHEME
Republicans spent $4.3 million to repeal Proposition 4, Utah’s voter-approved 2018 ban on partisan gerrymandering. It would let Republicans redraw the congressional map—wiping out the court-ordered district that gives Democrats their best shot at a US House seat in Utah.
To get the repeal on the ballot, Republicans hired canvassers to gather petition signatures across the state. Some of them allegedly tricked Utahns into signing under false pretenses. The nonprofit fighting the repeal, Better Boundaries, mailed petition signers prepaid envelopes with forms to remove their names from the petition.
Roughly 8,000 people completed the forms and mailed them back.
Republicans rushed a law through in the final hours of their legislative session to invalidate the removals—Gov. Cox signed it that night—but it was too late.
The petition fell short by 259 signatures. The repeal is dead. Better Boundaries Executive Director Elizabeth Rasmussen said she looks forward to the day Utah voters can finally pick their politicians—“not the other way around.”
Trump called it a priority. Utahns mailed back their signatures and killed it.
This is what it looks like when the people refuse to lose. When a city says no or a senator pries the truth out of a general. When thousands of people mail back an envelope, killing a $4.3 million gerrymander with their own two hands.

I have two questions for you today.
What are your thoughts about a massive Trump-linked data center getting blocked in Delaware?
Trump’s own four-star general just admitted under oath the boat strikes aren’t working. What does that say about the regime right now?

And WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE! PLEASE RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES AND READ THE NAMES OUT LOUD! PLEASE!
The regime is learning the hard way: they can buy buildings, spend millions, and issue orders — but they can’t buy the American people.
