I have always been led to understand that putting the 25th amendment into effect needs the signature of the VP. Does Vance have what it takes to do this? I am sure he has the political greed, that does he have The you know what to show what it takes to somebody like DJ T? Can he live with the fact that he has crossed him? His tenure in office would be spattered with AI many times a day along with ridiculous criticisms, and the rants of an unfit person.. Whoever gets the job next is going to have to wear a lead helmet along with full body protection, anti-Trump material.

Very inspiring. There were women who put their LIVES on the line to get the 19th amendment passed. Some died in the process. We owe them.
Democrats should be holding more hearings in the neighborhoods and streets where these crimes occurred. Not one voter in 10,000 pays attention to what happens in the august halls of the Capitol. Congressional hearings controlled by the gop are useless. We need our Representatives and Senators out in the streets protesting instead of impotently pontificating from behind the dais. Imagine if they had departed DC en masse and flown to Minneapolis to hold hearings in the street where Rene Good was murdered. That story would have been front page news for at least 2-3 days.

I am a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who has published 4 books and over 40 professional papers in major journals. I am also on the editorial board of an international psychoanalytic journal. Many more than thirty six medical experts agree with their statement that Trump is unfit for office, given his cognitive decline, sundowning, and continual, impulsive outbursts of rage.
I think that Anna Gomez of the FCC is a hero, for blowing the whistle on her committee’s plans to attack ABC- as part of their larger plan to stifle all criticism.
And the story about ICE being thwarted in Columbia County (just a few miles away from my home) by the call to the Columbia County Hot line, prompting advocates to arrive in haste and to confront the agents- is WONDERFUL. We must keep doing this. Their Hot Line is a must for all Sanctuary States.
Thank you to the 4 Epstein survivors for their grace and their testimony. Of course, the Republicans were absent- they want this to all go away. They know how much Trump is at risk here.

Victor Krakchuk I have been following from following from Ukraine for now what seems a couple years. Last night he wrote about his relationship with coffee, once foreign to him. Tea was his hot beverage.
From there coffee was bitter but over time he has come to find the sweetness, support, and consistency it provides. I found this perspective absolutely unique and insightful. I do believe most of our community will find many nuggets:
The reason I included it is that occasionally I like to add some other ideas to this community. Scott does include mostly US based efforts, but he can vary. This story from Victor just really touched me so I have been sharing it a bit wider.
I don’t know who you are so have no idea what you would post, why you would post, or where you would post. I was more interested in learning about Mr Krakchuk and his take on coffee and am therefore grateful that you shared.

It shouldn’t take 36 doctors in all fields of medicine to tell us the obvious, but that they have and congressional Republicans still twiddle their thumbs and stare out the window brainlessly is a frightening thing. We The People stand helplessly by as trump wanders around free. He’s going to wander into The Button Room.
Hell, I can imagine him pushing The Button while explaining to his interior decorators that he wants The Button’s red coloring with black skull and crossbones to be redone in solid gold to match the drapes.
I have said from the beginning, the plan is to keep the orange piggy pedo felon in office for 2 years, then he gets 25th amended. The plan being that jv pants could in theory serve 10 years as president

Two critical issues
1) highly doubt the orange piggy pedo felon is going to make it to two years. However, this is the reason that he is being pumped full of drugs.
2) jv pants cannot lead and from what I gather, he would be impeached and removed by congress. Without hesitation.
From what I have gathered during his time in the senate, he was disliked equally by both parties. He has no followers. No leadership. No personality.
Along with his entire cabinet.
At this point, the speaker of the house would not be tiny weeny Johnson. It would be a democrat.
