This Great News for America Is Terrible For Trump

Marines leaving LA, Epstein postcard in Trump Tower, investigating Colbert’s cancellation, and more

Yesterday, a protest was held outside of a federal courthouse in Boston, MA. Inside, the Harvard lawsuit against the Trump regime—for illegally cutting $2.6 billion in funding from the university—moved forward. The demonstration featured professors, alumni, and others speaking out against Trump’s abuse of power.

Stephen Colbert was back on the air last night, responding to Trump’s glee over his show being canceled. Looking straight into an “eloquence cam,” Colbert said: “Go f**k yourself.” To which the crowd erupted in chants of “Stephen! Stephen!”

The Writers Guild of America union is urging NY AG Letitia James to launch an investigation into the cancellation of Colbert’s late-night show. A statement from the union warned that “a corporation terminating a show in bad faith … is dangerous and unacceptable in a democratic society.”

Fox “News” host Jesse Watters “apologized” while on air for lying about CA Gov. Gavin Newsom. But the half-hearted apology wasn’t enough for Newsom to throw out his $787 million lawsuit against Fox for defamation. “Discovery will be fun. See you in court, buddy,” Newsom said to Watters.

When it comes to Trump’s war on immigration, the regime withdrew 700 US Marines from Los Angeles, who should’ve never been there. They’ve also quietly withdrawn around half of the 4,000 National Guard troops the regime sent to LA.

And there have been volunteers escorting immigrants to court. Folks are offering support by documenting any abuses, and posting evidence online when someone is detained by ICE after their hearing.

A federal judge declared that the Trump regime illegally refused to disclose how they are spending Congressionally-allocated funds. So they are breaking the law, in order to cover up a different illegal act. The judge wrote this in his order: “defendants are therefore required to stop violating the law!”

In more bad news for Trump, his lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal over their Epstein-birthday-card story was assigned to an Obama-appointed judge. So Trump’s attorneys will have to face a real judge. Whoops.

Speaking of Epstein, this scandal is not going away anytime soon. The Republican Accountability Project is running a 60-second ad on Fox “News,” where the group calls on Trump to release more Epstein files. They also put up billboards in Times Square, and near Trump’s NJ and DC golf bunkers.

Meanwhile, The Good Liars comedy duo snuck a stack of postcards into the Trump Tower gift shop, that featured photos of Trump and Epstein.

In other news, Dem Sen. Mark Warner blasted the Trump regime’s new lies about Russia interfering in the 2016 election. Which absolutely happened—Russia interfered.

“This latest lie is another sad, dangerous example of Tulsi Gabbard trying to rewrite history and erode trust in the intelligence community,” Warner said. “[Gabbard] is not competent to be the director of national intelligence.”
