Bernie Pummels Bogus Shutdown Deal, While Trump Booed Loudly Along With Some Senate Dems Who Made Bogus Deal With The Devil
This isn’t over
While Trump is “busy” throwing more parties at Mar-a-Lago and getting loudly booed on TV, I’m glad to have more great news for you today.
Thanks for being here. Let’s jump in.
TRUMP FLEES TO FLORIDA DURING SHUTDOWN
Trump’s getting slammed hard for leaving DC this weekend to golf and throw another lavish gala at his Mar-a-Lago bunker. And yes, that’s a bowl of mashed potatoes covering his face in the image above.
His tone-deaf party featured overpriced spreads, an opera singer, ice sculptures, and horrific music with lyrics falsely claiming he won the 2020 election. There were even synchronized swimmers who did a terrifying routine to “God Bless the USA.”
California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s Press Office responded to Trump with a short message that says it all: “Srsly? :\”
BOOED LOUDLY AT A FOOTBALL GAME
Last night Trump attended the NFL game for the Washington Commanders, where he was booed for nearly 2 minutes straight.
When Trump spoke to the audience through a microphone, the jeers were so loud you could barely hear him talking. With Mike Johnson and other cult members by his side, folks made it clear he was not welcome there.
BLAMING REPUBLICANS FOR THE SHUTDOWN
A group backed by GOP Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp released a new ad that blames both Republicans and Democrats for Trump’s shutdown. Even GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who I’ve investigated for years, has blamed her party for the shutdown.
The GOP is in complete disarray. And after refusing to give people SNAP benefits, I have no idea why anyone would vote Republican ever again.
DON’T TAKE THE BAIT
Sen. Bernie Sanders blasted the Senate’s latest bogus proposal to end the government shutdown without extending ACA subsidies.
Before voting no on the measure, Sanders said: “What this Senate is about to do is make a horrific situation even … worse ... we are on a pathway to throw 15,000,000 Americans off of Medicaid and off the Affordable Care Act.” He added: “Anyone think that’s funny ... I don’t.”
Bernie also made it clear: “It would be a policy and political disaster for Democrats to cave.”
NEWSOM TAKES TRUMP TO SCHOOL
In an interview with CNN this weekend, Gov. Gavin Newsom blasted the Trump regime for using SNAP benefits as “a bargaining chip,” calling it “shameful.”
While discussing his big Prop 50 win last week, Newsom said: “You can’t unilaterally disarm as other people are not playing by the rules. I think Trump did not expect what California did. He thought we … would try to win an argument by writing an op-ed.”
BANNON SAYS SOMETHING TRUTHFUL
At an event for maga extremists this week, Trump sycophant Steve Bannon actually told the truth for once, stating: “If we lose the midterms and we lose 2028, some in this room are going to prison—myself included. They’re not gonna stop.”
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Steve Bannon is right. We’re never going to stop fighting to hold the Trump regime accountable for their countless crimes. We’ll push to the ends of the earth for as long as it takes, to prevent any regime like this from taking power ever again.
That’s why I’ve worked around-the-clock against the maga propaganda machine for a decade, and there’s no way I’m stopping now.

I have one question for you today.
Some Senate Democrats agreed to a deal to end the shutdown, but it doesn’t include extending ACA subsidies. How do you feel about that decision?

Our Contact Congress campaign today will focus solely on contacting Senators and Rep. to make sure they vote against this absurd “deal” some Senate Dems made that doesn’t extend ACA subsidies. We will have a link and phone numbers pinned in the comment section. The fight continues. We must press on.
