My frustration is that the judges weigh in AFTER he already destroys “fill in the blank”! You can’t just put the trees back! This is his MO. I’m grateful for these judges and lawyers working to rein him in but the genie is out of the bottle snd he isn’t going back in-he must be eliminated.

A contempt charge is not trivial - but the entire DOJ is in thrall to Trump. What would the real consequences be? What about the park official who "admitted crews had cut about 200 more than they’d told the judge, then approved the extra cuts himself, after the trees were gone." Where is the accountability for his collusion? We need someone to keep book on all this for the day when we have a real Department of Justice. Then the indictments need to start - both for the principals and the enablers (like the contractors who took millions to screw up the reflecting pool and destroy the East Wing).
Consequences when applied will work. What are the consequences for chopping down trees when specifically ordered not? It’s no secret this was in defiance of law. Who is going to jail? Who is going to have to pay huge legal fees? See why this keeps happening??? President or an untrained puppy learn from experience.

If that judge hadn’t been purposefully vague and/or used weak language, nearly 500 trees would still be standing. It all seems like theater to me.
