Trump Can’t Stop Any Of It: Beaten Bad By Judges, Journalists, Farmers, and Two Dead Presidents’ Families
The regime is losing everywhere
Trump came for the press. He came for the courts. He came for the farmland. He’s failing on every front. Now he’s coming for the midterms—and two former presidents’ families are already making sure he fails at that too.

JOURNALISTS HEAD BACK TO WORK
Judge Royce Lamberth—a Reagan appointee—ordered this week that more than 1,000 Voice of America (VOA) employees must be reinstated by March 23. He voided every action Kari Lake took and ruled her appointment unlawful.
When the regime stonewalled his court and withheld key information during the proceedings, Lamberth slammed their conduct as a “Hallmark production in bad faith.”
During her deposition, Lake was asked under oath which countries repress and censor their people, and where VOA was legally required to broadcast. She had no opinion. On either. The person dismantling VOA couldn’t answer basic questions about VOA. Lamberth didn’t hold back, saying Lake “repeatedly thumbed her nose” at what VOA is supposed to do and didn’t even “feign compliance with the law.”
The result: 1,042 employees back to work, everything Lake did was thrown out, and VOA’s mandate—to broadcast independent news worldwide—was restored. The employees who sued to get their jobs back said they’ll return to do exactly what the regime has spent a year trying to stop. “To produce journalism, not propaganda.”
HEGSETH LOSES
In October 2025, reporters who cover the Pentagon faced a choice—sign a loyalty pledge to Pete Hegseth, or hand over their press pass.
ABC’s Jonathan Karl said the pledge would make it “impossible to do independent journalism.” One by one, almost every journalist in the building made the same call. Even some reporters from outlets that support Trump walked out. The regime replaced them with rightwing propagandists.
NY Times national security reporter Julian Barnes refused to sign the pledge and sued the Pentagon alongside the paper. And on Friday, Judge Paul Friedman—a Clinton appointee—struck down the core provisions of the regime’s press policy as unconstitutional. Friedman also rejected the Pentagon’s request to suspend the order pending an appeal.
In words that should be on the wall of every newsroom in America, he declared: the principle of a free press “has preserved the nation’s security for almost 250 years. It must not be abandoned now.”
OHIO TELLS BIG TECH: NOT HERE
When New Russia Township trustees voted 3-0 on Tuesday to kill a proposed big tech mega-site that would’ve eaten up 622 acres of Ohio farmland, hundreds of residents who had packed into the meeting erupted in cheers and a standing ovation.
Trump made AI a national priority, and Ohio handed Big Tech billions in tax breaks to build there. The people who actually live on this land had other ideas, and had been pushing back for months.
Kim Polen runs a fifth-generation farm in the township on around 1,000 acres adjacent to the site with her husband and two children. Her community kept pointing at their land and asking: why here?
The fight’s not over, but farmer Steve Jackson said it best: “If three or four hundred people out of a 2,400-person township show up and voice their opinion … you probably should listen.”
New Russia Township isn’t alone. Nearly 20 municipalities have already moved to block or ban data centers, and people are now circulating a petition to amend Ohio’s constitution to prohibit large-scale data centers across the state.
TWO PRESIDENTS’ FAMILIES PROTECT THE VOTE
The regime has made it clear it has no interest in protecting the vote or safeguarding our elections. So two families of former presidents decided they would.
The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation and The Carter Center announced a partnership to send nonpartisan election observers across Michigan for the November 3 elections, where there is a competitive Senate race, governor’s race, and a history of election controversy.
The Ford-Carter Election Observation Network will train residents to monitor polling locations and document whether election laws are followed. It’s the same way the Carter Center has monitored elections for decades in countries where democracy is under threat.
Michael Ford—son of former President Gerald Ford—said the partnership supports the belief that “a democratic system of government reflects citizen interest and engagement and also reinforces confidence in our electoral systems.”
Jason Carter—grandson of former President Jimmy Carter—said the initiative builds on “a longstanding legacy of collaboration between my grandfather and President Ford, who ran against each other in 1976, but went on to cultivate a genuine friendship and collaborate on many bipartisan initiatives to benefit the American people.”
Two families of former presidents didn’t wait—they looked at what Trump was doing and decided: not here, not on our watch.
That’s the whole story of our movement. Standing up when others don’t. Making calls and sending letters to Congress more than 664,000 times. Fighting the regime peacefully everywhere, and speaking out loudly every single day.
No corporate machine controls what we say here. Just people who love democracy—and will never stop fighting for it.

I have two questions for you today.
What do you think about the Carter and Ford families—once bitter rivals—working together to protect our elections?
What question do you think the reporters who have been restored to the Pentagon press pool should ask Pete Hegseth first?

🚨TWO URGENT ACTIONS TODAY
🚨Vote NO on SAVE Act: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-congress-vote-no-on-the-save-act-to-protect-our-democracy/
🚨 Tell your Reps to impeach Pam Bondi: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-congress-impeach-attorney-general-pam-bondi/
It gave me chills to read about the Carter and Ford families working together. This is the America I want to live in.
